ABSTRACT = {Primary genitourinary melanoma accounts for less
than 1% of all cases of melanoma. Melanoma of prostatic
origin is extremely rare. These patients are difficult to diagnose and carry a very poor prognosis. Aggressive
surgical resection is the current treatment standard. We
report a case of primary malignant melanoma of the
prostate found during transurethral resection of the
prostate.},
