Summary

Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field and sub-discipline of biology, computer science and information engineering. It is generally concerned with statistical and mathematical tool to analyze, store, analysis and interpretation of biological data. Bioinformatics is widely applicable in various fields related to healthcare, environmental defense, renewable energy, medicine, agriculture, control system, data organization etc. Computational Intelligence involves adaptability and ability to acquire learning intelligently in complex and changing environment. Recently Bioinformatics and Computational Intelligence have been integrated as a tool for establishment and development of intelligent control including algorithms to solve complex real time problems accurately and quickly. Intelligent control uses various computational approach and offers potential prospects in Bioinformatics to create noble solutions with high precision at low cost.

This special issue is the multidisciplinary journal and its aim is to is to provide an organized overview to covers all areas of bioinformatics and intelligent control including computational algorithms. The objective is to promote research and development by publishing quality research papers in interdisciplinary field of engineering. We welcome researchers to contribute some recent/new algorithms and its applications, as well as review articles.
