            </mml:math> consensus problem for a network of distributed energy resources (DERs) subject to edge-based communication disturbances. Prescribed performance control is adopted to improve the convergence and robustness of phase synchronization of DERs in a microgrid. Unlike traditional consensus control approaches, we consider DERs in microgrids that are subject to communication disturbances—a common issue in the monitoring and coordination of such systems. To this end, we propose a prescribed performance control protocol that incorporates error transformation techniques and prescribed performance constraints.
