IJMHP - 2023 Best Paper Award

 

Dear Colleagues,

 

We are pleased to announce the “International Journal of Mental Health Promotion 2022 Best Paper Award” for articles published in the journal from January 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2022. Given the number of papers that we publish this year, 3 articles will each receive an award. The papers will be selected after a thorough evaluation by the journal’s Award Committee, led by the Editors-in-Chief, and the winners will be announced in January 2023.

 

Eligibility for the Award:

– Papers published in the journal from January 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2022.

– Open to all career levels, regardless of the status of the first authors (i.e., scholar, student, educator, policy maker or professional, etc.)

– Both Regular and Special Issue submissions will be considered.

 

Award Application:

1. First/corresponding authors of eligible articles can nominate themselves for the award;

2. Editorial Board members of the journal can nominate articles for the award;

3. Guest editors who have established special issues in the journal can nominate articles;

 

Award Selection:

1. The Award Committee is composed of Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members and the Managing Editor, the Award Committee is responsible for the whole process of the award selection.

2. The nomination time will be from September 15th, 2022 to November 15th, 2022. The nominated papers will be announced on the journal’s homepage for public inspection, to allow omissions or errors to be specified and corrected.

3. The award selection period is from December 1st, 2022 to December 15th, 2022; and the Award Committee will announce the list of candidates for the best papers according to the selection criteria in the late December of 2022.

4. Selection Criteria:

The papers will be selected by the journal’s Award Committee according to the following criteria: (Data source: a Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics); Tech Science Press Web Analysis)

– Scientific merit and broad impact.

– Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented.

– Creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts.

– Citation and download rates in 2022.

(– The number of votes (“thumb-ups”) on relevant award pages during the selection period.)

 

Prizes:

– A certificate.

– An opportunity to publish one paper free of charge in 2023.

– A 30% discount for setting up special issues in IJMHP.

– 1500$ USD travel support to attend the international conference hosted by IJMHP.
