    Abstract

    Chemical composition of the bark extracts of Coula edulis was investigated to find potential antioxidant, anti-termite and antifungal compounds which can find useful applications in the fields of food, nutraceuticals, cosmetics or agrochemical. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of several groups of active molecules such as alkaloids, polyphenols, flavonoids, saponins and sterols and/or terpenes in the different extracts. Total phenols, condensed tannins and flavonoids contents corroborated phytochemical screening. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis revealed compounds in dichloromethane extract different from those obtained with all the other solvents.     Prednisone after vasectomy reversal may improve semen parameters: one institution’s experience

    Abstract Introduction: Patients with suboptimal semen parameters following vasectomy reversal represent a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. This may be caused by either partial or complete anastomotic obstruction. Despite the relatively common clinical use of corticosteroids in this patient population, data remain sparse. Thus, we set out to evaluate the safety and efficacy of prednisone after vasectomy reversal.

    Vanishing bile duct syndrome associated with pazopanib after progression on pembrolizumab

    Abstract Pazopanib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has been a standard first-line treatment for metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). Recent trials combining pazopanib with programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitors, including pembrolizumab, have shown excessive hepatotoxicity. We report a case of fatal hepatotoxicity from vanishing bile duct syndrome (VBDS) associated with pazopanib treatment, in a patient previously exposed to pembrolizumab.     Abstract This article discussed compressive strength, water absorption, thermal conductivity and Frost resistance of building glazed tile of fly ash added in order to solve the problem of shortage of raw materials in the production. According to the technology of catalytic combustion furnace, glazed tiles of fly ash added with pure solid texture and glamorous colors were obtained by radiation heat treatment.     Abstract In the present experiment with ongoing concentration (0 µM, 100 µM, 250 µM, 500 µM and 1000 µM) of 2,4-D, the responses of Azolla pinnata R.Br. was evaluated based on cellular functions.     Abstract The present study focused on the segregation of the percentage of grains with chalkiness (PGWC), using Huanghuazhan as the female parent and CS197 as the male parent to construct the hybrid rice F2 population. Molecular markers were used for genotype analysis among the extremely low and extremely high PGWC individuals from the F2 population.
