Abstract At present, energy consumption is one of the main bottlenecks in autonomous mobile robot development. To address the challenge of high energy consumption in path planning for autonomous mobile robots navigating unknown and complex environments, this paper proposes an Attention-Enhanced Dueling Deep Q-Network (AD-Dueling DQN), which integrates a multi-head attention mechanism and a prioritized experience replay strategy into a Dueling-DQN reinforcement learning framework. A multi-objective reward function, centered on energy efficiency, is designed to comprehensively consider path length, terrain slope, motion smoothness, and obstacle avoidance, enabling optimal low-energy trajectory generation in 3D space from the… More >

    Junjun Ren1, Guoqiang Chen2, Zheng-Yi Chai3, Dong Yuan4,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.86, No.1, pp. 1-26, 2026, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.068795 - 10 November 2025

Abstract Vehicle Edge Computing (VEC) and Cloud Computing (CC) significantly enhance the processing efficiency of delay-sensitive and computation-intensive applications by offloading compute-intensive tasks from resource-constrained onboard devices to nearby Roadside Unit (RSU), thereby achieving lower delay and energy consumption. However, due to the limited storage capacity and energy budget of RSUs, it is challenging to meet the demands of the highly dynamic Internet of Vehicles (IoV) environment. Therefore, determining reasonable service caching and computation offloading strategies is crucial. To address this, this paper proposes a joint service caching scheme for cloud-edge collaborative IoV computation offloading. By… More >

    Rui Yang*

The International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences, Vol.34, No.1, pp. 1-1, 2025, DOI:10.32604/icces.2025.010698

Abstract This study employs molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to comparatively investigate the mechanical enhancement mechanisms of glass fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) and basalt fiber-reinforced concrete (BFRC). Amorphous models of glass fiber (GF) and basalt fiber (BF), along with calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), were constructed using the ClayFF force field in LAMMPS. The interfacial transition zone (ITZ), atomic bonding characteristics, stress distribution, and tensile failure processes were systematically analyzed. Key findings reveal that BF exhibits a denser atomic network structure with higher coordination numbers, driven by the bridging role of Fe and Mg atoms. BFRC demonstrates significantly stronger More >

Abstract Many mature onshore oilfields have entered a high-water-cut stage, with reservoir recovery approaching economic limits. Converting these depleted or nearly depleted reservoirs into underground gas storage (UGS) facilities offers an efficient way to leverage their substantial storage potential. During cyclic gas injection and withdrawal, however, the reservoir experiences complex three-phase flow and repeated stress fluctuations, which can induce rock fatigue, inelastic deformation, and ultimately sand production. This study uses controlled physical experiments to simulate sand production in reservoir rocks subjected to alternating gas injection and production under three-phase conditions. After preparing oil-water-saturated cores through waterflooding,… More > Graphic Abstract
