    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.2, pp. 2859-2871, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.034164

Abstract One of the most pressing concerns for the consumer market is the detection of adulteration in meat products due to their preciousness. The rapid and accurate identification mechanism for lard adulteration in meat products is highly necessary, for developing a mechanism trusted by consumers and that can be used to make a definitive diagnosis. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) is used in this work to identify lard adulteration in cow, lamb, and chicken samples. A simplified extraction method was implied to obtain the lipids from pure and adulterated meat. Adulterated samples were obtained by mixing lard with chicken, lamb, and… More >

    Hesham Alhumyani*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.36, No.3, pp. 2933-2945, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.034689

Abstract This paper introduces an efficient image cryptography system. The proposed image cryptography system is based on employing the two-dimensional (2D) chaotic henon map (CHM) in the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). The proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography has two procedures which are the encryption and decryption procedures. In the proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography, the confusion is employed using the CHM while the diffusion is realized using the DFT. So, the proposed DFT-based CHM image cryptography achieves both confusion and diffusion characteristics. The encryption procedure starts by applying the DFT on the image then the DFT transformed image is scrambled using… More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.135, No.1, pp. 65-90, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.021940

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to present the class of atomic basis functions (ABFs) which are of exponential type and are denoted by . While ABFs of the algebraic type are already represented in the numerical modeling of various problems in mathematical physics and computational mechanics, ABFs of the exponential type have not yet been sufficiently researched. These functions, unlike the ABFs of the algebraic type , contain the tension parameter , which gives them additional approximation properties. Exponential monomials up to the th degree can be described exactly by the linear combination of the functions . The function… More >

    Speech Encryption with Fractional Watermark

    Yan Sun1,2,*, Cun Zhu1, Qi Cui3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 1817-1825, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.029408

Abstract Research on the feature of speech and image signals are carried out from two perspectives, the time domain and the frequency domain. The speech and image signals are a non-stationary signal, so FT is not used for the non-stationary characteristics of the signal. When short-term stable speech is obtained by windowing and framing the subsequent processing of the signal is completed by the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). The Fast Discrete Fourier Transform is a commonly used analysis method for speech and image signal processing in frequency domain. It has the problem of adjusting window size to a for desired resolution.… More >

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) Based Computational Complexity Analysis of Multicarrier Waveforms

    C. Ajitha1,*, T. Jaya2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.2, pp. 1033-1048, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.021984

Abstract Multicarrier waveforms with enhanced spectral efficiency, low latency, and high throughput are required for 5G wireless networks. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) method is well-known in research, but due to its limited spectral efficiency, various alternative waveforms are being considered for 5G systems. In the recent communication world, NOMA (non-orthogonal multiple access) plays a significant part due to its wider transmission of data with less bandwidth allocation. Even if a high data rate can be attained, the transmission problem will arise due to the spread of multiple paths. In order to reduce complexity and area utilization, a novel PL-based… More >

Efficient Supply Current Control Strategies for Bridgeless Interleaved AC-DC Converter

    R. Sasikala1,*, R. Seyezhai2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.43, No.1, pp. 175-191, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.022386

Abstract This paper presents an efficient supply current wave shaping technique for bridgeless interleaved Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC). The SEPIC converter converts an Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC) with the boost converter. Power Factor Correction (PFC) is progressively significant to achieve high energy efficiency. The overall system efficiency can be increased as the bridgeless topology has less conduction losses from rectifying bridges. Also, the bridgeless and interleaved techniques are incorporated in this study to achieve better performance. The performance of the system is analyzed on both current control and sensor-less techniques. Different controllers such as Proportional Integral… More >

    L. Vasanth*, N. J. R. Muniraj

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.2, pp. 955-966, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.022979

Abstract Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is an advanced communication technology that is often used for secure data transfer for military and other applications while transmitting data with high error and noise. To address this issue, a step-by-step hybrid Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation scheme in the MIMO system for a complex Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) format is recommended. When compared to Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK), this approach provides twice the data rate while using half the bandwidth. The complexity is lowered through multiplication and addition, as well as error and noise reduction in data transport, and MIMO detection… More >
