    Abstract Numerical predictions on flow and heat transfer in a square channel heat exchanger placed with V-baffle are examined. The gap spacing between the V-baffle and channel wall is varied for all baffle heights. The laminar regime with Re = 100 – 1000 is considered. The numerical model for the square channel heat exchanger placed with V-baffle is validated. The preliminary result reveals that the computational domain has reliability to predict flow and heat transfer in the channel.     Abstract This article presents both an experimental and numerical study of both stationary and sliding bubbles in a horizontal duct with forced convection heat transfer.     Abstract This work presents a new micro-positioning system that is implemented in an inchworm robot to move into desired locations. The system consists of four-bar mechanism; one link is fixed, and each one of the remaining links carries a piezoelectric actuator (PZT).     Abstract Surface-modified rice husk ash was used as an inorganic support material for immobilization of Candida antarctica lipase B. (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane was used for surface modification. Immobilization of CALB was performed via both physical adsorption and cross-linking. PCL synthesis was carried out by using these immobilized enzymes, free enzyme and Novozyme 435®. In order to solve potential secure problems and copyrights issues in redevelopment of APK files, in this paper we propose a new APK redevelopment mechanism (APK-SAN).
