    LncRNA PRRT3-AS1 exerts oncogenic effects on nonsmall cell lung cancer by targeting microRNA-507/homeobox B5 axis

    Abstract Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) act as key regulators controlling complex cellular behaviors in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We investigated the expression of lncRNA PRRT3 antisense RNA 1 (PRRT3-AS1) in paired samples of NSCLC and adjacent normal tissues from a patient cohort in our hospital using real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and found that it was significantly higher in NSCLC tissue than in normal tissue, consistent with The Cancer Genome Atlas database.     Abstract Pediatric central nervous system tumors are the most common tumors in children, it constitute 15%–20% of all malignancies in children and are the leading cause of cancer related deaths in children. Proteogenomics is an emerging field of biological research that utilizes a combination of proteomics, genomics, and transcriptomics to aid in the discovery and identification of biomarkers for diagnosis and therapeutic purposes.     Abstract The prognosis of patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-overexpressed metastatic breast cancer (MBC) has improved drastically following the development of anti-HER2 therapies. We question what factors are involved in the improved outcome by the treatment. One hundred and two MBC patients who received chemotherapy were classified into groups according to breast cancer subtype: luminal/HER2-negative (n = 50), HER2 (n = 26), and triple-negative subtypes (n = 26).     Abstract Therapeutic options in recurrent or metastasized vulvar squamous cell cancer (VSCC) not amenable to radiotherapy or radical surgery are limited. Evidence for the use of targeted therapies is sparse. All patients with VSCC treated at the Gynecological Cancer Center Hamburg-Eppendorf 2013–2019 were retrospectively evaluated for targeted therapeutic approaches.
