    Abstract Osteosarcoma (OS) is a primary high-grade malignant bone neoplasm, and the prognosis of OS remains poor due to early metastasis. Leptin plays an essential role in tumorigenesis, but the role of leptin in the development of OS is still not fully understood. In this study, we used a human osteosarcoma MG-63 cell line as an experimental model. MG-63 cells were treated with leptin, and cell proliferation, apoptosis, adhesion, invasion, and gene expression, were evaluated.     Abstract We have already shown that IL-10 plays an important role in immunosuppression and metastatic dissemination in the rat B-cell lymphoma L-TACB model. It was suggested that the up-regulation of IL10 production and IL-10 receptor (IL-10R) expression would be part of the transition from primary tumor to metastatic phenotype and that IL-10, besides its immunosuppressive activity, may act as a growth factor for metastatic L-TACB cells.     Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of the ascorbic acid supplementation on the cellular proliferation on the ileum mucosa of diabetic rats. Fifteen 90-days rats were divided in the groups: control, diabetic and diabetic supplemented with ascorbic acid (DA). Two hours prior the sacrifice, they were injected with Vincristin.     Abstract The Voronoi tessellation is employed to describe cellular patterns and to simulate cell division and cell remodeling in epithelial tissue. First, Halton sequence is utilized to generate the random generators of Voronoi cell points. The centroidal Voronoi cell center is obtained by probabilistic Lloyd's method and polygonal structure of cell distribution is modeled.
