Zeeshan Ali Haider1, Inam Ullah2,*, Ahmad Abu Shareha3, Rashid Nasimov4, Sufyan Ali Memon5,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.86, No.1, pp. 1-16, 2026, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.071042 - 10 November 2025

Abstract The advent of sixth-generation (6G) networks introduces unprecedented challenges in achieving seamless connectivity, ultra-low latency, and efficient resource management in highly dynamic environments. Although fifth-generation (5G) networks transformed mobile broadband and machine-type communications at massive scales, their properties of scaling, interference management, and latency remain a limitation in dense high mobility settings. To overcome these limitations, artificial intelligence (AI) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as potential solutions to develop versatile, dynamic, and energy-efficient communication systems. The study proposes an AI-based UAV architecture that utilizes cooperative reinforcement learning (CoRL) to manage an autonomous network.… More >

    Mohamed Ezz1, Meshrif Alruily1,*, Ayman Mohamed Mostafa2,*, Alaa S. Alaerjan1, Bader Aldughayfiq2, Hisham Allahem2, Abdulaziz Shehab2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.86, No.1, pp. 1-28, 2026, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.063189 - 10 November 2025

Abstract Automated essay scoring (AES) systems have gained significant importance in educational settings, offering a scalable, efficient, and objective method for evaluating student essays. However, developing AES systems for Arabic poses distinct challenges due to the language’s complex morphology, diglossia, and the scarcity of annotated datasets. This paper presents a hybrid approach to Arabic AES by combining text-based, vector-based, and embedding-based similarity measures to improve essay scoring accuracy while minimizing the training data required. Using a large Arabic essay dataset categorized into thematic groups, the study conducted four experiments to evaluate the impact of feature selection,… More >

    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.22, No.12, pp. 1055-1066, 2025, DOI:10.15251/CL.2025.2212.1055 - 10 December 2025

Abstract Laser ablation in liquids (LAL), a hygienic and effective method for creating high-purity nanomaterials, was used in this study to create cadmium sulfide (CdS) and silver oxide (Ag2O) nanoparticles. The sputtering process was used to deposit the produced nanomaterials on porous silicon (PSi) substrates, and a number of assays were used to examine the samples’ structural, optical, and electrical characteristics. The CdS sample had a hexagonal crystal structure, according to X-ray diffraction (XRD) data, whereas the AgO sample had a cubic structure. The diameters of the nanoparticles in the two samples ranged from 22.64 nm for… More >

    Nadezhda Golubkina1,*, Pavel Poluboyarinov2, Lyubov Skrypnik3, Agnieszka Sękara4, Otilia Cristina Murariu5, Gianluca Caruso6

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.94, No.12, pp. 3861-3877, 2025, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2025.070988 - 29 December 2025

Abstract Circadian biorhythms are fundamental in plant adaptability and development. To reveal the effect of organic and inorganic forms of Se, foliar treatments of dandelion with 0.26 mM Se solutions were practiced in two contrasting day times: in the morning with the highest levels of leaf Se and polyphenol (TP) and the lowest dry matter, and in the evening with the opposite characteristics. Compared to the control, the morning Se supply demonstrated a higher increase of root biomass (1.27–1.37 times), Se (1.82–2.85 times), TP content (1.42–1.44 times), and antioxidant activity (AOA) (1.47–1.48 times) than the evening… More > Graphic Abstract

Simulation and Performance Analysis of a Photovoltaic-Thermal Heat Pump System

    Jinyou Qiu1,2, Jiale Liu1,2, Yubing Li1,2,*, Shaogeng Zhong3, Guilong Dai1,2, Wenhua Liu4

    Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.23, No.6, pp. 2025-2049, 2025, DOI:10.32604/fhmt.2025.072260 - 31 December 2025

Abstract The growing demand for energy-saving and renewable heating solutions has made photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) heat pump systems a promising technology. However, their thermal and electrical performance, as well as the overall utilization of solar energy, strongly depend on capacity configuration and operating parameters. To address this issue, this study proposes a PV/T heat pump system featuring a novel rhombic flow channel structure that functions as the collector-evaporator. An experimental test bench was established to evaluate system performance, and a one-dimensional numerical model was developed to investigate the effects of environmental and operating parameters. The simulation results… More > Graphic Abstract

    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.22, No.7, pp. 637-648, 2025, DOI:10.15251/CL.2025.227.637 - 17 December 2025

Abstract In this paper, we designed a two-junction (tandem) solar cell model (tandem solar cell), consisting of an top and bottom subcell with absorber layers of Cu2SnZnS4 (CZTS) and Cu2SnZnSe4 (CZTSe) materials, respectively, for each subcell with a ZnS buffer layer and a ZnO window layer. This model was validated using the SCAPS-1D numerical simulation program. We also optimized the performance of the tandem cell as a whole using the simulation by studying the effect of the thickness of the absorber layer of the top subcell and the thickness of the absorber layer of the bottom subcell More >

    S. Younus, N. Amin*, A. Ali, K. Mahmood

    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.22, No.10, pp. 905-915, 2025, DOI:10.15251/CL.2025.2210.905

Abstract Wastewater generated by the textile industry contains high levels of various pollutants. Advanced conventional methods, such as chemical and electrical treatments, are effective in addressing these contaminants. However, the significant operational and capital costs associated with these conventional systems limit their accessibility for industrial stakeholders. In contrast, more economically viable methods tend to be less efficient. This study aims to identify a suitable approach for integrating photocatalytic degradation (PCD) with a low-cost method to enhance the cost-effectiveness of wastewater treatment processes in the textile sector. The study utilized silver copper sulfide (AgCuS) nanocomposites as a… More >

    Chirag Devendrakumar Parikh*

    Journal on Artificial Intelligence, Vol.7, pp. 571-584, 2025, DOI:10.32604/jai.2025.073765 - 01 December 2025

Abstract With the increasing complexity and scale of hyperscale data centers, the requirement for intelligent, real-time power delivery has never been more critical to ensure uptime, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Those techniques are typically static, reactive (since CPU and workload scaling is applied to performance events that occur after a request has been submitted, and is thus can be classified as a reactive response.), and require manual operation, and cannot cope with the dynamic nature of the workloads, the distributed architectures as well as the non-uniform energy sources in today’s data centers. In this paper, we… More >
