    Abstract The present paper deals with the effect of loading different pineapple leaf fibre (PALF) length (short, mixed and long fibres) and their reinforcement for the fabrication of vinyl ester (VE) composites. Performance of PALF/VE composites was investigated through three-point bending flexural testing and viscoelastic (dynamic) mechanical properties through dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). DMA results revealed that the long PALF/VE composites displayed better mechanical, damping factor and dynamic properties as compared to the short and mixed PALF/VE composites.     Abstract Addition formulas exist in trigonometric functions. Double-angle and half-angle formulas can be derived from these formulas. Moreover, the relation equation between the trigonometric function and the hyperbolic function can be derived using an imaginary number.     Abstract Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is a key fiber crop of great commercial importance. Numerous phytopathogens decimate crop production by causing various diseases. During July-August 2018, leaf spot symptoms were recurrently observed on cotton leaves in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan and adjacent areas. Infected leaf samples were collected and plated on potato dextrose agar (PDA) media.     Abstract Objective: We sought to describe the leaflet morphology variation in the Melody Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve (TPV) and evaluate associated outcomes. The Melody TPV is constructed from harvested bovine jugular venous valves which have been rigorously tested. Natural anatomic leaflet variations are seen in the Melody TPV but have not been evaluated.

    Abstract Three kinds of crop leaf-surface waxes were extracted from wheat, corn and broomcorn leaves, respectively. The crop leaf-surface waxes as lubricant additives were added to synthetic ester and the friction and wear properties of prepared lubricants for steel-aluminum and steel-copper friction pair were investigated in detail. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) were employed to explore the friction mechanisms.
