    Jin Sun1, Dengyin Zhang1, *, Xiaoye Shi1, Fei Ding1, 2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.65, No.2, pp. 1349-1360, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011459

Abstract Initial alignment is the precondition for strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) to navigate. Its two important indexes are accuracy and rapidity, the accuracy of the initial alignment is directly related to the working accuracy of SINS, but in selfalignment, the two indexes are often contradictory. In view of the limitations of conventional data processing algorithms, a novel method of compass alignment based on stored data and repeated navigation calculation for SINS is proposed. By means of data storage, the same data is used in different stages of the initial alignment, which is beneficial to shorten the initial alignment time and… More >

Storage-based Control Loop for AGC to Mitigate the Tie-lines Power Excursion between Areas

Shengqi Zhang, Bei Yuan, Jianfeng Zhao

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.4, pp. 745-753, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000078

Abstract With the current trend of deregulation, more power exchange between GENCOs and DISCOs in different areas exists in the power system. To mitigate the unscheduled power exchange meets the common interests of GENCOs and DISCOs, and avoids the power over-loading on tie-lines. However, in the current control performance standards (CPS), frequency deviations have priority in the conventional automatic generation control (C-AGC). Thus, a storagebased tie-line control loop (STCL) on the basis of C-AGC (STCL-AGC) is proposed in this paper, which makes a better tradeoff in the recovery of the frequency deviations and the unscheduled power exchange. In STCL-AGC, utility-scaled battery… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.3, pp. 561-572, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000111

Abstract Rockburst phenomenon is a kind of phenomenon that the rock is out and ejected because the mineral was dug out, and the original force balance was destroyed in the process of mineral exploitation. From 2007, GeoLab (abbreviation of State Key Laboratory in China for GeoMechanics and Deep Underground Engineering) had made a series of important achievements in rockburst. Up to now, GeoLab’s rockburst experiment data is reached 800T, and these data may occupy about 2PB hard disk space after analyzed. At this ratio, GeoLab need to buy a new hard disk to save all these data every 46 hours rockburst… More >

Low Temperature H2 Production from Formic Acid Aqueous Solution Catalyzed on Metal Doped Mo2C

    Shuaishuai Zhu1, Zhigang Pan1,2, Yaqiu Tao1,2,*, Yue Chen1,2

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.8, No.8, pp. 939-946, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2020.011197

Abstract Hydrogen is recognized as a promising energy scours in the close future. Online hydrogen preparation from formic acid under mild reaction conditions causes extensive interests. Mo2C and metal (Fe, Ni, Co, K) doped Mo2C on granular activated carbon (GAC) were prepared and used as heterogeneous catalysts for H2 generation from formic acid on a fixed bed reactor at 100–250°C. The formic acid conversions on doped Mo2C-Me/GAC are clearly improved, especially at lower reaction temperatures. Co doping presents outstanding effect on H2 selectivity and conversion rate compared to Ni and Fe. A 56.3% formic acid conversion was reached on Mo2C-Co/GAC at… More >

    Dongjie Zhu1, Haiwen Du6, Yundong Sun1, Xiaofang Li2, Rongning Qu2, Hao Hu1, Shuangshuang Dong1, Helen Min Zhou3, Ning Cao4, 5, *,

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.63, No.2, pp. 979-993, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.06478

Abstract In distributed storage systems, file access efficiency has an important impact on the real-time nature of information forensics. As a popular approach to improve file accessing efficiency, prefetching model can fetches data before it is needed according to the file access pattern, which can reduce the I/O waiting time and increase the system concurrency. However, prefetching model needs to mine the degree of association between files to ensure the accuracy of prefetching. In the massive small file situation, the sheer volume of files poses a challenge to the efficiency and accuracy of relevance mining. In this paper, we propose a… More >

Modelling of Energy Storage Photonic Medium by WavelengthBased Multivariable Second-Order Differential Equation

    T. Binesh1, *

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.123, No.1, pp. 333-351, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2020.08097

Abstract Wavelength-dependent mathematical modelling of the differential energy change of a photon has been performed inside a proposed hypothetical optical medium. The existence of this medium demands certain mathematical constraints, which have been derived in detail. Using reverse modelling, a medium satisfying the derived conditions is proven to store energy as the photon propagates from the entry to exit point. A single photon with a given intensity is considered in the analysis and hypothesized to possess a definite non-zero probability of maintaining its energy and velocity functions analytic inside the proposed optical medium, despite scattering, absorption, fluorescence, heat generation, and other… More >

    BIOCELL, Vol.33, No.2, pp. 99-106, 2009, DOI:10.32604/biocell.2009.33.099

Abstract Comparative studies on fatty acid and protein composition of the endosperm and embryo of palmito (Euterpe edulis Martius) were conducted using gas-liquid chromatography and sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. On a dry weight basis, the embryo contained extremely lower amounts of lipids and proteins than did the endosperm, which was associated with the scarce lipid and protein bodies previously reported in axis and cotyledon. The fatty acid composition also exhibited differences between both tissues: (I) the fatty acid diversity was greater in embryo than in endosperm; (II) embryo and endosperm contained predominantly linoleic, palmitic, oleic and stearic acids even though… More >
