Secured Data Storage Using Deduplication in Cloud Computing Based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography

    N. Niyaz Ahamed*, N. Duraipandian

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.41, No.1, pp. 83-94, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.020071 - 08 October 2021

Abstract The tremendous development of cloud computing with related technologies is an unexpected one. However, centralized cloud storage faces few challenges such as latency, storage, and packet drop in the network. Cloud storage gets more attention due to its huge data storage and ensures the security of secret information. Most of the developments in cloud storage have been positive except better cost model and effectiveness, but still data leakage in security are billion-dollar questions to consumers. Traditional data security techniques are usually based on cryptographic methods, but these approaches may not be able to withstand an… More >

Transcriptome profile analysis of the accompanying migratory parasitic wasp Aenasius bambawalei (= Aenasius arizonensis girault) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae): Genes related to fertilization involved at different stage of ovary development

    JUAN ZHANG2, JUN HUANG3, YAYUAN TANG2, XIUZHEN LONG1

    BIOCELL, Vol.46, No.1, pp. 195-205, 2022, DOI:10.32604/biocell.2022.016563 - 28 September 2021

Abstract Age-related declines in fertilization success have been reported for a wide range of species. The fertilization of parasitic wasps is closely related to egg production and sperm storage. Aenasius bambawalei (Hymenoptera: Encyridae) is a key parasitic wasp of the important invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). The female offspring ratio of this parasitic wasp was declined with parental age in mass rearing under laboratory conditions. To investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in the reproduction of A. bambawalei, an extensive analysis of the impact of age on transcriptome profile of mated ovaries of this wasp was performed by comparing… More >

Fault Management Cyber-Physical Systems in Virtual Storage Model

    Kailash Kumar*, Ahmad Abdullah Aljabr

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.2, pp. 3781-3801, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.020510 - 27 September 2021

Abstract On average, every two years, the amount of data existing globally doubles. Software development will be affected and improved by Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). The number of problems remained even though developments helped Information Technology experts extract better value from their storage investments. Because of poor interoperability between different vendors and devices, countless numbers of Storage Area Networks were created. Network setup used for data storage includes a complex and rigid arrangement of routers, switch, hosts/servers, storage arrays. We have evaluated the performance of routing protocol Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) under More >

Nitric Oxide Regulates Mitochondrial Fatty Acids and Promotes CBF Expression of Peach Fruit during Cold Storage

    Xiaoshan Guo1,2, Dandan Huang2, Siyu Wen2, Yang Bai2, Shuhua Zhu2,*, Jianrong Feng1,*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.2, pp. 409-427, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.018022 - 26 September 2021

Abstract Low-temperature storage is convenient for postharvest preservation of peach fruit, but peach fruit is sensitive to cold damage, which lowers its quality. Nitric oxide (NO) has the potential to improve the bitter resistance of peach fruit. In this work, peach fruit was treated with 15 μmol L−1 NO and 5 μmol L−1 c-PTIO [2-(4-carboxyphenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxo-3-oxide], to study changes in mitochondrial fatty acids and expression of the C-repeat binding factor (CBF). The results showed that 15 μmol L−1 exogenous NO significantly maintained fruit quality, reduced peroxidation of mitochondrial fatty acids, increased the activities of the antioxidants superoxide dismutase (SOD),… More >

PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION OF PHASE CHANGE HEAT ACCUMULATOR WITH TURN-OVER TRIANGULAR TUBE

    Ming Zhao*, Yuhao Zheng

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.16, pp. 1-9, 2021, DOI:10.5098/hmt.16.19

Abstract The performance optimization of the triangular-tube phase change heat accumulator is carried out from three aspects. The first is to compare with three different types tubes: the traditional round tube, the square tube, and the elliptical tube. Results show that equilateral triangle tube has the best heat storage and release characteristics. The second is to study the sub-cavity heat accumulator model based on multiphase change materials on the basis of the triangular tube. The third is to study the turn-over triangular tube heat accumulator. Both the flip function through discrete point fitting and the best More >

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A SOLAR WATER HEATER INTEGRATED WITH BUILT-IN THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE VIA POROUS MEDIA

Hasan S. Majdia,*, Azher M. Abedb, Laith J. Habeebc

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer, Vol.17, pp. 1-7, 2021, DOI:10.5098/hmt.17.6

Abstract The present work presents and analyzes the results acquired from outdoor experimental measurements of a solar latent heat storage unit integrated with built-in thermal energy storage at the presence and absence of porous media. The tank consists of a porous media part, a packed of glass beds, and the fluid flowing through the void space surrounding the porous glass beds. The porous tanks were filled by 1.68 mm glass beds to form bed heights (h) of 10 and 20 cm. Results show that the maximum thermal storage of 110 min is achieved in hot flow More >

Abstract This work presents a hybrid power system consisting of photovoltaic and solid oxide fuel cell (PV-SOFC) for electricity production and hydrogen production. The simulation of this hybrid system is adjusted for Bou-Zedjar city in north Algeria. Homer software was used for this simulation to calculate the power output and the total net present cost. The method used depends on the annual average monthly values of clearness index and radiation for which the energy contributions are determined for each component of PV/SOFC hybrid system. The economic study is more important criterion in the proposed hybrid system, More >
