KNEMAG: Key Node Estimation Mechanism Based on Attack Graph for IoT Security

    Bichen Che1, Long Liu2,*, Huali Zhang1

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.4, pp. 145-162, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010035

Abstract With the rapid development and widespread application of the IoT, the at-tacks against IoT vulnerabilities have become more complex and diverse. Most of the previous research focused on node vulnerability and its risk analysis. There is little information available about the importance of the location of the node in the system. Therefore, an estimation mechanism is proposed to assess the key node of the IoT system. The estimation of the key node includes two parts: one is the utilization relationship between nodes, and the other is the impact on the system after the node is conquered. We use the node… More >

Shuqiao Liu, Junliang Li, Xiaojie Li*

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.4, pp. 135-144, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.09797

Abstract In the deep learning field, “Capsule” structure aims to overcome the shortcomings of traditional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) which are difficult to mine the relationship between sibling features. Capsule Net (CapsNet) is a new type of classification network structure with “Capsule” as network elements. It uses the “Squashing” algorithm as an activation function and Dynamic Routing as a network optimization method to achieve better classification performance. The main problem of the Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Brain MRI) recognition algorithm is that the difference between Alzheimer’s disease (AD) image, the Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) image, and the normal image is not… More >

Non-Linear Localization Algorithm Based on Newton Iterations

    Jianfeng Lu*, Guirong Fei

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.4, pp. 129-134, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.07196

Abstract In order to improve the performance of time difference of arrival (TDOA) localization, a nonlinear least squares algorithm is proposed in this paper. Firstly, based on the criterion of the minimized sum of square error of time difference of arrival, the location estimation is expressed as an optimal problem of a non-linear programming. Then, an initial point is obtained using the semi-definite programming. And finally, the location is extracted from the local optimal solution acquired by Newton iterations. Simulation results show that when the number of anchor nodes is large, the performance of the proposed algorithm will be significantly better… More >

    Xiaokan Wang*, Qiong Wang

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 121-127, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010200

Abstract In order to prevent drunk driving timely and protect personal safety, a kind of vehicle-loaded alcohol concentration detector based on single chip microcomputer control is designed. The detector usesAT89C51 microcontroller as the core, makes use of the gas sensor, A/D converter to detect the alcohol concentration of the breath of the driver, can set different thresholds according to the space of the car model, automatically cut off the ignition circuit for the exceeded threshold, and has the sound and light alarm function, which fundamentally solve the problem of drunk driving. The instrument is compact in size, stable in performance, convenient… More >

    Yanming Wang1,2,3, Kebin Jia1,2,3,*, Pengyu Liu1,2,3

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 109-120, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010138

Abstract With the global climate change, the high-altitude detection is more and more important in the climate prediction, and the input-output characteristic curve of the air pressure sensor is offset due to the interference of the tested object and the environment under test, and the nonlinear error is generated. Aiming at the difficulty of nonlinear correction of pressure sensor and the low accuracy of correction results, depth neural network model was established based on wavelet function, and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is used to update network parameters to realize the nonlinear correction of pressure sensor. The experimental results show that compared with the… More >

    Yang Tang1,*, Weiwei Liu1, Yihao He1, Yuelin Zhang2, Fulong Zhang2

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 101-107, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010108

Abstract Public bicycle service has experienced 15 years of development in Chinese cities, and mainland China is the world's largest public bicycle market. Choosing to use public bicycles is becoming more and more a daily habit of residents. Broadly speaking, public bicycles in Chinese cities include both public bikes with service stations and shared bicycles without service stations. Based on historical review and years of accumulated data, this paper reviews the development of general public bicycles in Chinese cities in the past 15 years. And the role of general public bicycles in China’s urban transportation system is analyzed. Finally, from the… More >

Research on the Traveling Characteristics and Comparison of Bike Sharing in College Campus–A Case Study in Hangzhou

    Yang Tang1,*, Weiwei Liu1, Chennan Zhang2, Yihao He1, Ning Ji1, Xinyao Chen1

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.3, pp. 89-99, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010107

Abstract Bike sharing emerging from college campus in Mainland China has become a major part in the daily traveling of Chinese urban residents. It changes the traveling behavior of urban residents, and simultaneously, raises higher requirements on urban transportation facility construction and management. However, the return of bike sharing to college campus causes more troubles to schools. The fundamental cause is the closed peculiarity of campus traveling comparing with city traveling, and also the discrepancy between college campuses of different types. This paper investigates the traveling characteristics of bike sharing in college campus in three different locations in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang… More >

Application of Dynamic Programming Algorithm Based on Model Predictive Control in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Control Strategy

    Xiaokan Wang*, Qiong Wang

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.2, No.2, pp. 81-87, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2020.010225

Abstract A good hybrid vehicle control strategy cannot only meet the power requirements of the vehicle, but also effectively save fuel and reduce emissions. In this paper, the construction of model predictive control in hybrid electric vehicle is proposed. The solving process and the use of reference trajectory are discussed for the application of MPC based on dynamic programming algorithm. The simulation of hybrid electric vehicle is carried out under a specific working condition. The simulation results show that the control strategy can effectively reduce fuel consumption when the torque of engine and motor is reasonably distributed, and the effectiveness of… More >
