Innovative and Smart Power Systems play an important role in mitigating challenges due to rapid population growth and limited resources. These systems will help our society in developing environmental and power sustainability. Therefore, Renewable Energy Systems (RES) play a supportive role in creating innovative and smart power systems. RES will help our society, government, and experts to meet the energy needs of a growing population. These systems will also support the economic needs of developing countries. Due to Climatic Changes, our society faces numerous challenges such as shortage of water supplies. Therefore, Renewable Energy Sources (RES) will help mitigate climatic challenges and adapt environmentally and power sustainability efforts.

Consequently, Sustainable Energy will predominate in twenty-first-century research work, business, and government policies. In this Special Issue, we invite investigators from different industry, government and research to contribute both original research articles and review articles that will explore the link between Academic Conceptual Research, Development areas and provide the state-of-art real-time application of stochastic innovative energy-efficient systems.

The research topics may revolve around (but not limited to) Water-to-Energy (WTE) technologies and their potential to harness the energy potential of wastes, and achieving SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and Environment Cleaning Technologies. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following;

• Educational Strategies towards Clean Energy Technologies; a step towards Global Sustainability

• The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on building Innovative Energy Systems.

• Research on Innovative Storage Technologies and the Water Footprint of Carbon Capture.

• Research Potential Water-to-Energy (WTE) Techniques for Sustainable Development Goals and Integrated Environmental Systems.

• The Nexus between the City-and-Environment Energy Sustainability.
