Optimized Control of Single Phase Reboost Luo Converter Fed Grid-Connected PV System

    S. Baskaran1,*, Raghuraman Sivalingam2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.2, pp. 1103-1119, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.023093

Abstract An epic topology of PV system for 1Ф grid tied framework with high gain altered Re Boost Luo converter is developed. In this epic topology, the PV (Photovoltaic) system is connected with single phase network via a Re Boost Luo converter and Voltage Source Inverter. The voltage variance issues of PV framework are overwhelmed by extricating most extreme power from the array. The Whale Optimization is utilized to extract the vast majority of the power from photovoltaic array. Similar to the existing topology, the proposed scheme is designed using reference casings of direct and quadrature… More >

Robustness Convergence for Iterative Learning Tracking Control Applied to Repetitfs Systems

Ben Attia Selma*, Ouerfelli Houssem Eddine, Salhi Salah

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.32, No.2, pp. 795-810, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.020435

Abstract This study addressed sufficient conditions for the robust monotonic convergence of repetitive discrete-time linear parameter varying systems, with the parameter variation rate bound. The learning law under consideration is an anticipatory iterative learning control. Of particular interest in this study is that the iterations can eliminate the influence of disturbances. Based on a simple quadratic performance function, a sufficient condition for the proposed learning algorithm is presented in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) by imposing a polytopic structure on the Lyapunov matrix. The set of LMIs to be determined considers the bounds on the More >

A Pathway to Explore the Hidden Specialty in the Design of Fifteen Level Inverter in Grid Connected PV System

    C. Gopinath1, *, M. Rajvikram1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.115, No.3, pp. 359-386, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmes.2018.06143

Abstract This research paper proposes a single phase fifteen level inverter for a grid connected PV system. The proposed inverter is also called cascaded asymmetric multilevel inverter. By adopting appropriate hybrid modulation technique improved output voltage is obtained with minimum number of power electronic switches. By reducing the number of gate triggering circuits of the switches, the size and power consumption of the driving circuits can be reduced. The total harmonic distortion of the output of the inverter is improved by this inverter. The proposed inverter developed by cascading a full bridge inverter with modified H More >
