Numerical Simulation of Electromagnetic Field of Non-Contact LVDT by the Smoothed Finite Element Method

    Qiuxia Fan1,*, Jianyu Li1, Xinqi Zhang1

The International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences, Vol.31, No.1, pp. 1-1, 2024, DOI:10.32604/icces.2024.012048

Abstract In this paper, a series of smoothed finite element methods for the electromagnetic field distribution of non-contact LVDT are proposed. Firstly, the problem domain is discretized into a set of four-node tetrahedral elements, and the linear shape function is used to interpolate the domain variables. Then, the smooth region is further constructed by combining the nodes, edges and surfaces of the unit. Gradient smoothing technique is used to smooth the magnetic vector potential and scalar potential on each smooth domain. Based on the generalized smooth Galerkin weak form, the discretization system expression is derived and More >

Vector Dominance with Threshold Searchable Encryption (VDTSE) for the Internet of Things

    Jingjing Nie1,*, Zhenhua Chen2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.79, No.3, pp. 4763-4779, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2024.051181 - 20 June 2024

Abstract The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is an application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the medical field. It is a cutting-edge technique that connects medical sensors and their applications to healthcare systems, which is essential in smart healthcare. However, Personal Health Records (PHRs) are normally kept in public cloud servers controlled by IoMT service providers, so privacy and security incidents may be frequent. Fortunately, Searchable Encryption (SE), which can be used to execute queries on encrypted data, can address the issue above. Nevertheless, most existing SE schemes cannot solve the vector dominance threshold… More >

Ergonomic Reliability Assessment of VDT System for Operation Design Based on Improved BPNN and HCR under Special Circumstances

    Xin Liu1, Zheng Liu2,*, Zhilin Huang1, Mingyu Ling1, Kangchao Lin1, Pengqing Chen1, Xiaomin Huang1, Yujia Zhai1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.136, No.1, pp. 685-707, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.025058 - 05 January 2023

Abstract Ergonomic reliability plays a significant role in the safe operation of devices. With the spread of infectious diseases around the world, in work environments with high loads and high infection rates, medical staff work in a state of high self-protection. The use of visual display terminal (VDT) for medical equipment has undergone fundamental changes, and the traditional medical equipment human-machine interface design needs to be improved. After the completion of design and development, a VDT design enters the experimental testing stage, which has significant limitations for simulating the work of medical staff in the high-load… More >
