Nuova Rivista Storica (NRS) is a leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated to comprehensive historical studies. Founded in 1917, it has grown into a long-established and highly respected journal in historical scholarship, serving as a vital international platform that bridges European historiographical traditions with global scholarly dialogue.

This transition is designed to enhance the journal's academic impact and global visibility while ensuring an improved publishing experience for researchers. The journal's aims, scope, and formatting guidelines will remain unchanged.

NRS is currently published as a hybrid journal, offering both subscription-based and open access options for authors. In due course, the journal intends to transition fully to an open access model to increase the visibility and accessibility of its content.
