Smart Biotechnology is dedicated to providing an international, peer-reviewed platform for high-quality research in fields of biotechnology, engineering, and medicine. Its primary aim is to foster the development of fundamental discoveries and technological innovations, and their translation into clinically applications. The journal will emphasize studies that combine methodological or technological innovation with rigorous biological validation and clear translational relevance.
The scope of the journal will include, but not limited to: nanobiotechnology and molecular engineering, analytical biotechnologies, regenerative medicine and imaging technologies. It will also cover developments in large-scale biology, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, together with advances in computational biology and data-driven approaches to biomedical research. In addition, the journal also welcomes contributions in food and agricultural biotechnology, applied immune biotechnology, and environmental biotechnology. The journal publishes research articles, rapid communications, reviews, perspectives, commentaries, methodology articles, and letters to the editor. Thematic issues and invited contributions from leading experts in emerging interdisciplinary fields will also be featured.
