Prof. Lin Lu Appointed Editor-in-Chief of Energy Engineering

Energy Engineering is honored to announce that Prof. Lin Lu of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will officially assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of the journal.


Looking ahead to 2026, Energy Engineering will continue to advance frontier research in energy engineering under the joint leadership of Prof. Zhe Chen (Aalborg University), Prof. Wenming Yang (National University of Singapore), and Prof. Lin Lu, with the collective support of the editorial board and editorial office.


About Prof. Lin Lu
A highly cited researcher by Clarivate Analytics in Engineering and a Stanford-recognized World’s Top 2% Scientist in Energy, Prof. Lin Lu is an internationally recognized expert in renewable energy and building energy engineering. She is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute (UK), and has served as Chair of the Hong Kong Branch of the Energy Institute. 


During her tenure as Associate Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Lin Lu made significant contributions to strengthening the journal’s academic standards, peer-review process, internationalization, and global visibility, playing a key role in its steady growth and enhanced academic reputation.
