Canadian Journal of Urology Participation at AUA 2025: Fostering Global Collaboration to Propel Advances in Urologic Science

The 120th Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association (AUA2025) was successfully held in Las Vegas from April 26 to 29, attracting over 20,000 professionals in the field of urology from around the world. As one of the most prestigious global academic events in urology, AUA2025 covered a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including robotic surgery, cancer therapeutics, AI-powered diagnostics, and geriatric urologic care.

Dr. Leonard Gomella (Editor-in-Chief of CJU) and Mr. John Chen (Director of Publication Development, Tech Science Press) attended AUA2025 and held discussions on advancing the journal’s international visibility and collaboration. During the conference, the CJU team also met with 37 international exhibitors and connected with editorial board members and contributing authors.

The five key scientific themes from AUA2025—robotic and minimally invasive therapies, UTI and antibiotic strategies, women’s and geriatric urology, genetics in stone disease, and personalized pelvic pain management—will serve as references for CJU’s upcoming special issues and editorial direction.
