Abstract This research aims to explore the method of combining digital twins (DTs) with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms to analyze the attraction of museum historical and cultural exhibits to achieve intelligent and digital development of museum exhibitions. Firstly, the DTs technology is used to digitally model the museum's historical and cultural exhibits, realizing virtual exhibit display and interaction. Then, the Mini_Xception network is proposed to improve the CNN algorithm, which is combined with the ResNet algorithm to construct a human facial emotion recognition model. Finally, the proposed model is used to accurately predict the attraction More >

Efficient Digital Twin Placement for Blockchain-Empowered Wireless Computing Power Network

Wei Wu, Liang Yu, Liping Yang*, Yadong Zhang, Peng Wang

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.80, No.1, pp. 587-603, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2024.052655 - 18 July 2024

Abstract As an open network architecture, Wireless Computing Power Networks (WCPN) pose new challenges for achieving efficient and secure resource management in networks, because of issues such as insecure communication channels and untrusted device terminals. Blockchain, as a shared, immutable distributed ledger, provides a secure resource management solution for WCPN. However, integrating blockchain into WCPN faces challenges like device heterogeneity, monitoring communication states, and dynamic network nature. Whereas Digital Twins (DT) can accurately maintain digital models of physical entities through real-time data updates and self-learning, enabling continuous optimization of WCPN, improving synchronization performance, ensuring real-time accuracy, More >

    Digital Engineering and Digital Twin, Vol.2, pp. 1-31, 2024, DOI:10.32604/dedt.2023.044930 - 31 January 2024

Abstract The advent of technology around the globe based on the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Cyber-Physical Systems, and digitalisation. This advancement introduced industry 4.0. It is challenging to measure how enterprises adopt the new technologies. Industry 4.0 introduced Digital Twins, given that no specific terms or definitions are given to Digital Twins still challenging to define or conceptualise the Digital Twins. Many academics and industries still use old technologies, naming it Digital Twins. This young technology is in danger of reaching the plateau despite the immense benefit to sectors. This paper proposes a… More >

Abstract The concept of the digital twin, also known colloquially as the DT, is a fundamental principle within Industry 4.0 framework. In recent years, the concept of digital siblings has generated considerable academic and practical interest. However, academia and industry have used a variety of interpretations, and the scientific literature lacks a unified and consistent definition of this term. The purpose of this study is to systematically examine the definitional landscape of the digital twin concept as outlined in scholarly literature, beginning with its origins in the aerospace domain and extending to its contemporary interpretations in More >

    Ying Bai1,*, Xiaoti Ren2, Hong Li1

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.3, pp. 2999-3018, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.040124 - 11 September 2023

Abstract The combination of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and digital twin (DT) technology makes it possible for the DT model to realize the dynamic perception of equipment status and performance. However, conventional digital modeling is weak in the fusion and adjustment ability between virtual and real information. The performance prediction based on experience greatly reduces the inclusiveness and accuracy of the model. In this paper, a DT-IIoT optimization model is proposed to improve the real-time representation and prediction ability of the key equipment state. Firstly, a global real-time feedback and the dynamic adjustment mechanism… More >
