    Jiajia Yu*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.1, pp. 777-797, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.037354

Abstract This study aims to reduce the interference of ambient noise in mobile communication, improve the accuracy and authenticity of information transmitted by sound, and guarantee the accuracy of voice information delivered by mobile communication. First, the principles and techniques of speech enhancement are analyzed, and a fast lateral recursive least square method (FLRLS method) is adopted to process sound data. Then, the convolutional neural networks (CNNs)-based noise recognition CNN (NR-CNN) algorithm and speech enhancement model are proposed. Finally, related experiments are designed to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm and model. The experimental results show that the noise classification… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.3, pp. 5983-5999, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.035585

Abstract Compact fifth-generation (5G) low-frequency band filtering antennas (filtennas) with stable directive radiation patterns, improved bandwidth (BW), and gain are designed, fabricated, and tested in this research. The proposed filtennas are achieved by combining the predesigned compact 5G (5.975 – 7.125 GHz) third-order uniform and non-uniform transmission line hairpin bandpass filters (UTL and NTL HPBFs) with the compact ultrawide band Vivaldi tapered slot antenna (UWB VTSA) in one module. The objective of this integration is to enhance the performance of 5.975 – 7.125 GHz filtennas which will be suitable for modern mobile communication applications by exploiting the benefits of UWB VTSA. Abstract The sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication networks are anticipated in integrating aerial, terrestrial, and maritime communication into a robust system to accomplish trustworthy, quick, and low latency needs. It enables to achieve maximum throughput and delay for several applications. Besides, the evolution of 6G leads to the design of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in providing inexpensive and effective solutions in various application areas such as healthcare, environment monitoring, and so on. In the UAV network, effective data collection with restricted energy capacity poses a major issue to achieving high quality network communication. It can be addressed by the use of clustering… More >

Abstract Cellular mobile technology has witnessed tremendous growth in recent times. One of the challenges facing the operators to extend the coverage of the networks to meet the rising demand for cellular mobile services is the power sources used to supply cellular towers with energy, especially in remote. Thus, switch from the conventional sources of energy to a greener and sustainable power model became a target of the academic and industrial sectors in many fields; one of these important fields is the telecommunication sector. Accordingly, this study aims to find the optimum sizing and techno-economic investigation of a solar photovoltaic scheme… More >

A Joint Resource Allocation Algorithm for D2D Communication

    Abdul Kadir Hamid1, Lamia Osman Widaa2, Fahd N. Al-Wesabi3,*, Imran Khan4, Anwer Mustafa Hilal5, Manar Ahmed Hamza5, Abu Sarwar Zaman5, Mohammed Rizwanullah5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.70, No.2, pp. 3751-3762, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.020136

Abstract The emergence of multimedia services has meant a substantial increase in the number of devices in mobile networks and driving the demand for higher data transmission rates. The result is that, cellular networks must technically evolve to support such higher rates, to be equipped with greater capacity, and to increase the spectral and energy efficiency. Compared with 4G technology, the 5G networks are being designed to transmit up to 100 times more data volume with devices whose battery life is 10 times longer. Therefore, this new generation of networks has adopted a heterogeneous and ultra-dense architecture, where different technological advances… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.1, pp. 301-317, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.018122

Abstract With the rapid development of Internet technology, users have an increasing demand for data. The continuous popularization of traffic-intensive applications such as high-definition video, 3D visualization, and cloud computing has promoted the rapid evolution of the communications industry. In order to cope with the huge traffic demand of today’s users, 5G networks must be fast, flexible, reliable and sustainable. Based on these research backgrounds, the academic community has proposed D2D communication. The main feature of D2D communication is that it enables direct communication between devices, thereby effectively improve resource utilization and reduce the dependence on base stations, so it can… More >
