    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.66, No.1, pp. 903-917, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.012255

Abstract Due to the recent proliferation of cyber-attacks, highly robust wireless sensor networks (WSN) become a critical issue as they survive node failures. Scale-free WSN is essential because they endure random attacks effectively. But they are susceptible to malicious attacks, which mainly targets particular significant nodes. Therefore, the robustness of the network becomes important for ensuring the network security. This paper presents a Robust Hybrid Artificial Fish Swarm Simulated Annealing Optimization (RHAFS-SA) Algorithm. It is introduced for improving the robust nature of free scale networks over malicious attacks (MA) with no change in degree distribution. The More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.125, No.1, pp. 383-399, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2020.09588

Abstract The robust design optimization (RDO) is an effective method to improve product performance with uncertainty factors. The robust optimal solution should be not only satisfied the probabilistic constraints but also less sensitive to the variation of design variables. There are some important issues in RDO, such as how to judge robustness, deal with multi-objective problem and black-box situation. In this paper, two criteria are proposed to judge the deterministic optimal solution whether satisfies robustness requirment. The robustness measure based on maximum entropy is proposed. Weighted sum method is improved to deal with the objective function, More >

The International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences, Vol.7, No.1, pp. 19-22, 2008, DOI:10.3970/icces.2008.007.019

Abstract In this paper, the vibration response of the satellite equipment panel during the launch phase is predicted in consideration of the robustness. By using a simplified model consisted of a panel and an acoustic cavity, Monte Carlo simulation in which analytical parameters are changed at random in the conceivable range of variation is done. From the result, the acceleration power spectral density (PSD) of the satellite equipment panel is obtained. After statistical processing, the effect of variation on the vibration response is estimated and the proper design criteria of the equipment are defined. More >

    Zhiguo Qu1,*, Tiancheng Zhu2, Jinwei Wang1, Xiaojun Wang3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.56, No.1, pp. 47-59, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2018.02215

Abstract In this paper, a novel quantum steganography protocol based on Brown entangled states is proposed. The new protocol adopts the CNOT operation to achieve the transmission of secret information by the best use of the characteristics of entangled states. Comparing with the previous quantum steganography algorithms, the new protocol focuses on its anti-noise capability for the phase-flip noise, which proved its good security resisting on quantum noise. Furthermore, the covert communication of secret information in the quantum secure direct communication channel would not affect the normal information transmission process due to the new protocol’s good… More >

Michely Laís de Oliveira1,*, Marcio Augusto Villela Pinto2, Simone de Fátima Tomazzoni Gonçalves2, Grazielli Vassoler Rutz3

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.117, No.2, pp. 251-270, 2018, DOI:10.31614/cmes.2018.04237

Abstract Studies of problems involving physical anisotropy are applied in sciences and engineering, for instance, when the thermal conductivity depends on the direction. In this study, the multigrid method was used in order to accelerate the convergence of the iterative methods used to solve this type of problem. The asymptotic convergence factor of the multigrid was determined empirically (computer aided) and also by employing local Fourier analysis (LFA). The mathematical model studied was the 2D anisotropic diffusion equation, in which ε > 0 was the coefficient of a nisotropy. The equation was discretized by the Finite… More >

    Robust Re-Weighted Multi-View Feature Selection

    Yiming Xue1, Nan Wang2, Yan Niu1, Ping Zhong2, ∗, Shaozhang Niu3, Yuntao Song4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.60, No.2, pp. 741-756, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.05611

Abstract In practical application, many objects are described by multi-view features because multiple views can provide a more informative representation than the single view. When dealing with the multi-view data, the high dimensionality is often an obstacle as it can bring the expensive time consumption and an increased chance of over-fitting. So how to identify the relevant views and features is an important issue. The matrix-based multi-view feature selection that can integrate multiple views to select relevant feature subset has aroused widely concern in recent years. The existing supervised multi-view feature selection methods usually concatenate all… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.59, No.3, pp. 1015-1026, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.05656

Abstract The performance of the transfer alignment has great impact on inertial navigation systems. As the transfer alignment is generally implemented using a filter to compensate the errors, its accuracy, rapidity and anti-disturbance capability are key properties to evaluate the filtering process. In terms of the superiority in dealing with the noise, H∞ filtering has been used to improve the anti-disturbance capability of the transfer alignment. However, there is still a need to incorporate system uncertainty due to various dynamic conditions. Based on the structural value theory, a robustness stability analysis method has been proposed for More >

    Zhifeng Wang1, Diqun Yan1,*, Rangding Wang1, Li Xiang1, Tingting Wu1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.56, No.2, pp. 247-259, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2018.02902

Abstract Speech resampling is a typical tempering behavior, which is often integrated into various speech forgeries, such as splicing, electronic disguising, quality faking and so on. By analyzing the principle of resampling, we found that, compared with natural speech, the inconsistency between the bandwidth of the resampled speech and its sampling ratio will be caused because the interpolation process in resampling is imperfect. Based on our observation, a new resampling detection algorithm based on the inconsistency of band energy is proposed. First, according to the sampling ratio of the suspected speech, a band-pass Butterworth filter is More >
