Summary

Artificial intelligence psychology is an emerging interdisciplinary research field. Given the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, it is currently a popular topic in academic research. Not only does artificial intelligence psychology provide a new perspective and research methods for understanding human psychological mechanisms, it also promotes the optimisation and innovation of artificial intelligence systems. In order to further explore research related to artificial intelligence psychology, and to promote academic exchange and progress in this field, this journal is launching a special issue entitled 'Theoretical Development, Construction, and Application of Artificial Intelligence Psychology', and is now inviting submissions from experts and scholars.

This special issue has a broad scope, covering multiple important aspects of artificial intelligence psychology. In terms of theoretical development, we will re-examine and innovate traditional psychological theories in the context of artificial intelligence. We will also explore the emergence and development of new theories in artificial intelligence psychology and how to construct psychological theoretical frameworks tailored to the characteristics of artificial intelligence systems. In terms of construction methods, we will focus on developing psychological measurement tools and methods based on artificial intelligence technology and applying artificial intelligence models to psychological experiment design and data analysis. We will also focus on constructing and validating artificial intelligence psychology models. We will explore ways to combine psychological theories with artificial intelligence algorithms to build models with explanatory and predictive capabilities. In terms of practical applications, we will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in psychological therapy and intervention, and the application of artificial intelligence technology in psychology. In line with this, this special issue invites submissions of empirical and commentary articles related to the following topics:
1. The conceptual definition and theoretical foundation of AI psychology.
2. Assessment methods and tool development for AI psychology variables.
3. Methods and measures for AI-assisted psychological counselling and guidance.
4. The mechanisms and pathways through which AI has a psychological impact on users.
5. The multidimensional structure and models of AI psychological variables.
6. Comparative analysis of AI psychology research across different countries/regions.
7. Demand analysis of AI technology from a psychological perspective.
8. User experience research on AI technology.
9. The ethical and moral considerations of AI applications from a psychological perspective.

Note 1: In addition to the topic of this special issue, the topic of the manuscript should be in line with the scope of the journal.

Note 2: The structure and framework of the article must conform to the preferred style of this journal.
