2020 Yuan-Cheng Fung Best Paper Award Winner Announcement


Dear Colleagues,


As the Editor-in-Chief of Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics (MCB), I am pleased to announce the winner of the 2020 Yuan-Cheng Fung Best Paper Award.


The award has been granted to one research article:


Paper Title: Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulations at Micro-Scale Stenosis for Microfluidic Thrombosis Model Characterization

Dr. Lining Arnold Ju in Ju Mechanobiology Lab at the School of Biomedical Engineering, 

Charles Perkins Centre and Heart Research Institute, The University of Sydney, Australia


Dr. Ju received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, USA. Dr. Ju currently holds the prestigious Australian Research Council DECRA fellowship, establishing his independent laboratory at the interface between biomedical engineering and cardiovascular biology. He is also developing new mechanobiology techniques towards blood clotting research.      

The corresponding author will receive $1,000 USD. On behalf of the Assessment Committee, I congratulate the winner on the accomplishment. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the nominated research groups of the above exceptional paper for their contributions to MCB and thank the Award Committee for voting and helping with the award.
