Recruiting Early Career Editorial Board Members for Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing

To further enhance the academic quality and global influence of Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing (FDMP), we are expanding our Early Career Editorial Board in 2025. We warmly invite outstanding young researchers with demonstrated expertise in fluid dynamics, materials processing, and related interdisciplinary areas to join us in advancing the open dissemination of high-quality research.

 

Application Eligibility

· Possess a PhD degree; applicants holding an associate professorship (or above) are preferred. 

· Recognized expertise and academic contributions in the relevant field.

· Strong publication record in recent years as first or corresponding author.

· Commitment to supporting journal development and outreach.

· Integrity and professionalism, with no record of academic misconduct.

 

Benefits of Early Career Editorial Board Membership

· An official certificate of appointment as an Early Career Editorial Board Member.

· Promotion of your research through FDMP’s communication channels.

· Opportunities for collaboration and networking with leading experts in the field.

· Accepted manuscripts where you are the first author will be prioritized for publication.

· Outstanding contributors may be promoted to full Editorial Board membership.

 

Responsibilities of Early Career Editorial Board Members

· Encouraged to publish at least one high-quality paper in FDMP during the term (research article or review).

· Contribute to topic proposals, special issue organization, and manuscript solicitation.

· Provide peer review support and recommend expert reviewers.

· Assist with content promotion through summaries, highlights, and media outreach, when applicable.

· Represent the journal at academic conferences and networking events.

· Participate in editorial meetings and other scholarly activities.

· Application deadline: 20 September 2025

· Selection results announcement: 30 September 2025

· Selection process: Initial screening of CV → Selection by the Editorial Board → Public announcement → Issuance of certificate of appointment.

· Term of appointment: One year. Membership will not be renewed for those who remain inactive during the term.
