Metaheuristic Resource Allocation Strategy for Cluster Based 6G Industrial Applications

    Anwer Mustafa Hilal1,*, Lamia Osman Widaa2, Fahd N. Al-Wesabi3, Mohammad Medani3, Manar Ahmed Hamza1, Mesfer Al Duhayyim4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.71, No.1, pp. 667-681, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.021338

Abstract The emergence of Beyond 5G (B5G) and 6G networks translated personal and industrial operations highly effective, reliable, and gainful by speeding up the growth of next generation Internet of Things (IoT). Industrial equipment in 6G encompasses a huge number of wireless sensors, responsible for collecting massive quantities of data. At the same time, 6G network can take real-world intelligent decisions and implement automated equipment operations. But the inclusion of different technologies into the system increased its energy consumption for which appropriate measures need to be taken. This has become mandatory for optimal resource allocation in 6G-enabled industrial applications. In this… More >

Power Allocation Strategy for Secret Key Generation Method in Wireless Communications

    Bin Zhang1, Muhammad Waqas2,3, Shanshan Tu2,*, Syed Mudassir Hussain4, Sadaqat Ur Rehman5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.68, No.2, pp. 2179-2188, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.016553

Abstract Secret key generation (SKG) is an emerging technology to secure wireless communication from attackers. Therefore, the SKG at the physical layer is an alternate solution over traditional cryptographic methods due to wireless channels’ uncertainty. However, the physical layer secret key generation (PHY-SKG) depends on two fundamental parameters, i.e., coherence time and power allocation. The coherence time for PHY-SKG is not applicable to secure wireless channels. This is because coherence time is for a certain period of time. Thus, legitimate users generate the secret keys (SKs) with a shorter key length in size. Hence, an attacker can quickly get information about… More >

Hospital Bed Allocation Strategy Based on Queuing Theory during the COVID-19 Epidemic

    Jing Hu1, Gang Hu2,*, Jiantao Cai3, Lipeng Xu2, Qirun Wang4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.66, No.1, pp. 793-803, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011110

Abstract During the current epidemic, it is necessary to ensure the rehabilitation treatment of children with serious illness. At the same time, however, it is essential to effectively prevent cross-infection and prevent infections from occurring within the hospital setting. To resolve this contradiction, the rehabilitation department of Nanjing Children’s Hospital adjusted its bed allocation based on the queuing model, with reference to the regional source and classification of the children’s conditions in the rehabilitation department ward. The original triple rooms were transformed into a double room to enable the treatment of severely sick children coming from other places. A M/G/2 queuing… More >

Growth and production characters of elymus cylindricus in different shortening heading time

    Chengcheng Li1, Chan Zhou2, Yunfei Yang1

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.88, No.1, pp. 55-61, 2019, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2019.04577

Abstract Ramet modules in a certain population differ in terms of functions, which accounts for different contributions of the same ramets. Shortening heading time brings about different contributions of such modules. Ramets heading one after another were treated as a continuum in respective cohorts of Elymus cylindricus aged two. The reproductive ramets that head earlier were marked with tags every four days during the whole heading stage from the beginning to the end, after which all the labeled ramets at the maturity period were gathered. The results showed that, the height and biomass of ramets, the length and biomass of inflorescences,… More >
