Provenance Method of Electronic Archives Based on Knowledge Graph in Big Data Environment

    Chun Xu1, Jiang Xu1,2,*

Journal of Information Hiding and Privacy Protection, Vol.3, No.2, pp. 91-99, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jihpp.2021.019883

Abstract With the advent of the era of big data, the Provenance Method of electronic archives based on knowledge graph under the environment of big data has produced a large number of electronic archives due to the development of science and technology. How to guarantee the credential characteristics of electronic archives in the big data environment has attracted wide attention of the academic community. Provenance is an important technical means to guarantee the certification of electronic archives. In this paper, knowledge graph technology is used to provide the concept provenance of electronic archives in large data environment. It not only enriches… More >

Big Data of Home Energy Management in Cloud Computing

    Rizwan Munir1,*, Yifei Wei1, Rahim Ullah2, Iftikhar Hussain3, Kaleem Arshid4, Umair Tariq1

    Journal of Quantum Computing, Vol.2, No.4, pp. 193-202, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jqc.2020.016151

Abstract A smart grid is the evolved form of the power grid with the integration of sensing, communication, computing, monitoring, and control technologies. These technologies make the power grid reliable, efficient, and economical. However, the smartness boosts the volume of data in the smart grid. To obligate full benefits, big data has attractive techniques to process and analyze smart grid data. This paper presents and simulates a framework to make sure the use of big data computing technique in the smart grid. The offered framework comprises of the following four layers: (i) Data source layer, (ii) Data transmission layer, (iii) Data… More >

A Middleware for Polyglot Persistence and Data Portability of Big Data PaaS Cloud Applications

    Kiranbir Kaur1, *, Sandeep Sharma1, Karanjeet Singh Kahlon2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.65, No.2, pp. 1625-1647, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011535

Abstract Vendor lock-in can occur at any layer of the cloud stack-Infrastructure, Platform, and Software-as-a-service. This paper covers the vendor lock-in issue at Platform as a Service (PaaS) level where applications can be created, deployed, and managed without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. These applications and their persisted data on one PaaS provider are not easy to port to another provider. To overcome this issue, we propose a middleware to abstract and make the database services as cloud-agnostic. The middleware supports several SQL and NoSQL data stores that can be hosted and ported among disparate PaaS providers. It facilitates the developers… More >

The Study on Evaluation Method of Urban Network Security in the Big Data Era

    Qingyuan Zhoua, Jianjian Luob

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.24, No.1, pp. 133-138, 2018, DOI:10.1080/10798587.2016.1267444

Abstract Big data is an emerging paradigm applied to datasets whose size is beyond the ability of commonly used software tools to capture, manage, and process the data within a tolerable elapsed time. In a Smarter City, available resources are harnessed safely, sustainably and efficiently to achieve positive, measurable economic and societal outcomes. Most of the challenges of Big Data in Smart Cities are multi-dimensional and can be addressed from different multidisciplinary perspectives. Based on the above considerations, this paper combined the PSR method, the fuzzy logic model and the entropy weight method in an empirical study for feasible urban public… More >

Public Health Emergency Management and Multi-Source Data Technology in China

Xinzhi Wanga, Yi Liub, Hui Zhanga, Qiuju Maa, Zhidong Caoc

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.24, No.1, pp. 89-96, 2018, DOI:10.1080/10798587.2016.1267246

Abstract Public health emergency is governed by the physical rules, which are related to the propagation of diseases in the physical space, and the social rules, which are related to government structures, social behaviors, and social media in cyber space. Effective preparedness and response of public health emergency is strongly related to interoperation, collaboration and cooperation among different levels of government agencies and among different regions, as well as information flow and data mining between agencies and general public. In this paper, we review the technologies using multi-source data for public health emergency in China. At the micro-level, risk analysis and… More >

Functional Causality between Oil Prices and GDP Based on Big Data

    Ibrahim Mufrah Almanjahie1, 2, Zouaoui Chikr Elmezouar1, 2, 3, *, Ali Laksaci1, 2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.63, No.2, pp. 593-604, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.08901

Abstract This paper examines the causal relationship between oil prices and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study is carried out by a data set collected quarterly, by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, over a period from 1974 to 2016. We seek how a change in real crude oil price affects the GDP of KSA. Based on a new technique, we treat this data in its continuous path. Precisely, we analyze the causality between these two variables, i.e., oil prices and GDP, by using their yearly curves observed in the four quarters of each year. We… More >
