QDCT Encoding-Based Retrieval for Encrypted JPEG Images

    Qiuju Ji1, Peipeng Yu1, Zhihua Xia1, *

    Journal on Big Data, Vol.2, No.1, pp. 33-51, 2020, DOI:10.32604/jbd.2020.01004

Abstract Aprivacy-preserving search model for JPEG images is proposed in paper, which uses the bag-of-encrypted-words based on QDCT (Quaternion Discrete Cosine Transform) encoding. The JPEG image is obtained by a series of steps such as DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) transformation, quantization, entropy coding, etc. In this paper, we firstly transform the images from spatial domain into quaternion domain. By analyzing the algebraic relationship between QDCT and DCT, a QDCT quantization table and QDTC coding for color images are proposed. Then the compressed image data is encrypted after the steps of block permutation, intra-block permutation, single table substitution and stream cipher. At… More >

Fusion of Medical Images in Wavelet Domain: A Hybrid Implementation

    Satya Prakash Yadav1, *, Sachin Yadav2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.122, No.1, pp. 303-321, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2020.08459

Abstract This paper presents a low intricate, profoundly energy effective MRI Images combination intended for remote visual sensor frameworks which leads to improved understanding and implementation of treatment; especially for radiology. This is done by combining the original picture which leads to a significant reduction in the computation time and frequency. The proposed technique conquers the calculation and energy impediment of low power tools and is examined as far as picture quality and energy is concerned. Reenactments are performed utilizing MATLAB 2018a, to quantify the resultant vitality investment funds and the reproduction results show that the proposed calculation is very quick… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.2, pp. 889-910, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.06034

Abstract In order to solve the problem of patient information security protection in medical images, whilst also taking into consideration the unchangeable particularity of medical images to the lesion area and the need for medical images themselves to be protected, a novel robust watermarking algorithm for encrypted medical images based on dual-tree complex wavelet transform and discrete cosine transform (DTCWT-DCT) and chaotic map is proposed in this paper. First, DTCWT-DCT transformation was performed on medical images, and dot product was per-formed in relation to the transformation matrix and logistic map. Inverse transformation was undertaken to obtain encrypted medical images. Then, in… More >

On Hiding Secret Information in Medium Frequency DCT Components Using Least Significant Bits Steganography

    Sahib Khan1,*, M A Irfan1, Arslan Arif1, Syed Tahir Hussain Rizvi2, Asma Gul3, Muhammad Naeem4, Nasir Ahmad5

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.118, No.3, pp. 529-546, 2019, DOI:10.31614/cmes.2019.06179

Abstract This work presents a new method of data hiding in digital images, in discrete cosine transform domain. The proposed method uses the least significant bits of the medium frequency components of the cover image for hiding the secret information, while the low and high frequency coefficients are kept unaltered. The unaltered low frequency DCT coefficients preserves the quality of the smooth region of the cover image, while no changes in the high DCT coefficient preserve the quality of the edges. As the medium frequency components have less contribution towards energy and image details, so the modification of these coefficients for… More >

    Jialing Liu1, Jingbing Li1,2,*, Yenwei Chen3, Xiangxi Zou1, Jieren Cheng1,2, Yanlin Liu1, Uzair Aslam Bhatti1,2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.1, pp. 363-378, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.06037

Abstract Remote medical diagnosis can be realized by using the Internet, but when transmitting medical images of patients through the Internet, personal information of patients may be leaked. Aim at the security of medical information system and the protection of medical images, a novel robust zero-watermarking based on SIFT-DCT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform-Discrete Cosine Transform) for medical images in the encrypted domain is proposed. Firstly, the original medical image is encrypted in transform domain based on Logistic chaotic sequence to enhance the concealment of original medical images. Then, the SIFT-DCT is used to extract the feature sequences of encrypted medical images.… More >
