    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.2, pp. 2355-2366, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.019409

Abstract Brain tumor is one of the most common tumors with high mortality. Early detection is of great significance for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. The single channel convolution layer and pool layer of traditional convolutional neural network (CNN) structure can only accept limited local context information. And most of the current methods only focus on the classification of benign and malignant brain tumors, multi classification of brain tumors is not common. In response to these shortcomings, considering that convolution kernels of different sizes can extract more comprehensive features, we put forward the multi-size convolutional kernel module. And considering that… More >

Abstract Cloud computing is a demanding business platform for services related to the field of IT. The goal of cloud customers is to access resources at a sustainable price, while the goal of cloud suppliers is to maximize their services utilization. Previously, the customers would bid for every single resource type, which was a limitation of cloud resources allocation. To solve these issues, researchers have focused on a combinatorial auction in which the resources are offered by the providers in bundles so that the user bids for their required bundle. Still, in this allocation mechanism, some drawbacks need to be tackled,… More >

Abstract Introduction: Regorafenib is a multi tyrosin-kinase inhibitor prescribed in metastatic refractory colorectal cancer treatment. Its toxicity is significant but inconstant. The metabolism of regorafenib includes oxydation via cytochrome P3A4, then glucuroconjugation. A pharmacogenetical approach of mutational status of Uridine-Diphospho-Glucuronosyltransfersase (UDP-glucuronosyl-transferase, UGT) could be a strategy to optimise the use of regorafenib. Patients and Method: This is a restrospective, unicentric study. All adult patients treated with regorafenib for a metastatic colorectal cancer in our center between 2013 and 2017 were analysed. UGT1A1 polypmorphism was previously researched in the laboratory after written informed consent. Results: Thirty-five patients received regorafenib during the study… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.27, No.2, pp. 471-482, 2021, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2021.013373

Abstract Long Range Radio (LoRa) has become one of the widely adopted Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies in power Internet of Things (PIoT). Its major advantages include long-distance, large links and low power consumption. However, in LoRa-based PIoT, terminals are often deployed in the wild place and are easily affected by bad weather or disaster, which could easily lead to large-scale operation faults and could seriously affect the normal operation of the network. Simultaneously, the distribution characteristics of outdoor terminals with wide coverage and large links lead to a sharp increase in the difficulty and cost of fault recovery. Given… More >
