Abstract Indian medicinal plants are referred to as the “nectar of life” owing to their phytochemicals and bioactive complexes that are beneficial in treating diseases. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a global health issue without any proper medication. The indigenous plants of India can be exploited to control the precise signs of SARS-CoV-2. The Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) has advised routine usage of medicinal plants for COVID-19. Abstract The aim of the present review was to analyze and identify the problems associated with the Production System and Chain Value of Oregano in the area of Traslasierra Valley, province of Córdoba. Traditional ecotypes, such as Criollo, Chileno II and Compacto, are cultivated in the region, as well as new ecotypes such as “Serrano Cordobés”, “Flor Rosa” and “Rosa Fuerte”. Abstract Six mitochondrial (mtDNA) markers, cox2, ccmFn, ccb256, cox3, Nad4L-orf25, and atp4, were combined to assess genetic relationships by using Maximum Likelihood (ML) and Maximum parsimony (MP). This was done among nine Chinese Curcuma herbal species, included two rare species which are difficult to distinguish from their morphological characters. The relationships are very close among the nine species, and the overall distance was 0.018.
