DKP-SLAM: A Visual SLAM for Dynamic Indoor Scenes Based on Object Detection and Region Probability

    Menglin Yin1, Yong Qin1,2,3,4,*, Jiansheng Peng1,2,3,4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.82, No.1, pp. 1329-1347, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2024.057460 - 03 January 2025

Abstract In dynamic scenarios, visual simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithms often incorrectly incorporate dynamic points during camera pose computation, leading to reduced accuracy and robustness. This paper presents a dynamic SLAM algorithm that leverages object detection and regional dynamic probability. Firstly, a parallel thread employs the YOLOX object detection model to gather 2D semantic information and compensate for missed detections. Next, an improved K-means++ clustering algorithm clusters bounding box regions, adaptively determining the threshold for extracting dynamic object contours as dynamic points change. This process divides the image into low dynamic, suspicious dynamic, and high More >

An Adaptive Parameter-Free Optimal Number of Market Segments Estimation Algorithm Based on a New Internal Validity Index

    Jianfang Qi1, Yue Li1,3, Haibin Jin1, Jianying Feng1, Dong Tian1, Weisong Mu1,2,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.137, No.1, pp. 197-232, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.026113 - 23 April 2023

Abstract An appropriate optimal number of market segments (ONS) estimation is essential for an enterprise to achieve successful market segmentation, but at present, there is a serious lack of attention to this issue in market segmentation. In our study, an independent adaptive ONS estimation method BWCON-NSDK-means++ is proposed by integrating a new internal validity index (IVI) Between-Within-Connectivity (BWCON) and a new stable clustering algorithm Natural-SDK-means++ (NSDK-means++) in a novel way. First, to complete the evaluation dimensions of the existing IVIs, we designed a connectivity formula based on the neighbor relationship and proposed the BWCON by integrating… More >

User Role Discovery and Optimization Method Based on K-means++ and Reinforcement Learning in Mobile Applications

Yuanbang Li*, Wengang Zhou, Chi Xu, Yuchun Shi

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.3, pp. 1365-1386, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019656 - 19 April 2022

Abstract With the widespread use of mobile phones, users can share their location and activity anytime, anywhere, as a form of check-in data. These data reflect user features. Long-term stability and a set of user-shared features can be abstracted as user roles. This role is closely related to the users’ social background, occupation, and living habits. This study makes four main contributions to the literature. First, user feature models from different views for each user are constructed from the analysis of the check-in data. Second, the K-means algorithm is used to discover user roles from user… More >

A K-means++ Based User Classification Method for Social E-commerce

    Haoliang Cui1, Shaozhang Niu1, Keyue Li1,*, Chengjie Shi2, Shuai Shao3, Zhenguang Gao4

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.28, No.1, pp. 277-291, 2021, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2021.016408 - 17 March 2021

Abstract At present, the research on the classification of e-commerce users is relatively mature, but with the rise of mobile social networks, the combination of social networks and e-commerce networks has become a trend and is developing rapidly. Traditional e-commerce user classification methods are not suitable for social e-commerce users. Therefore, based on the research on traditional e-commerce user classification methods, according to the characteristics of social e-commerce users, we improved data preprocessing and parameter tuning methods, and proposed a clustering method of social e-commerce users based on the K-means++ algorithm. The test on the actual More >
