Abstract Fathers play an important role in children’s development throughout their lives, and Father-Love Absence (FLA) leads to more behavioral problems, including Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI). However, there has been no research on the relationship between FLA and NSSI and its influencing mechanism.
