    Anas Al-Ragehi1, Said Jadid Abdulkadir1,2,*, Amgad Muneer1,2, Safwan Sadeq3, Qasem Al-Tashi4,5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 2169-2186, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027885

Abstract Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) are neural networks that allow models to learn deep representations without requiring a large amount of training data. Semi-Supervised GAN Classifiers are a recent innovation in GANs, where GANs are used to classify generated images into real and fake and multiple classes, similar to a general multi-class classifier. However, GANs have a sophisticated design that can be challenging to train. This is because obtaining the proper set of parameters for all models-generator, discriminator, and classifier is complex. As a result, training a single GAN model for different datasets may not produce satisfactory results. Therefore, this study… More >

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.8, pp. 1721-1743, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.021069

Abstract Linseed is a multipurpose crop and the crop needs further improvement to increase production and yield due to its high value and demand. This study aimed to assess the extent and pattern of genetic variability of forty linseed genotypes based on diverse agro–morphological and yield attributes. The field experiment was conducted following a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Linseed germplasm showed a wide range of phenotypic expression, genetic variability and heritability for 30 studied traits. A low to high phenotypic coeffi- cient of variation (PCV) and genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) were observed. The lowest genotypic (σ2 g)… More >

Spectral Matching Classification Method of Multi-State Similar Pigments Based on Feature Differences

    Meng Da1, Huiqin Wang1,*, Ke Wang1, Zhan Wang2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.1, pp. 513-527, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019040

Abstract The properties of the same pigments in murals are affected by different concentrations and particle diameters, which cause the shape of the spectral reflectance data curve to vary, thus influencing the outcome of matching calculations. This paper proposes a spectral matching classification method of multi-state similar pigments based on feature differences. Fast principal component analysis (FPCA) was used to calculate the eigenvalue variance of pigment spectral reflectance, then applied to the original reflectance values for parameter characterization. We first projected the original spectral reflectance from the spectral space to the characteristic variance space to identify the spectral curve. Secondly, the… More >

An Improved Method for Extractive Based Opinion Summarization Using Opinion Mining

    Surbhi Bhatia*, Mohammed AlOjail

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.42, No.2, pp. 779-794, 2022, DOI:10.32604/csse.2022.022579

Abstract Opinion summarization recapitulates the opinions about a common topic automatically. The primary motive of summarization is to preserve the properties of the text and is shortened in a way with no loss in the semantics of the text. The need of automatic summarization efficiently resulted in increased interest among communities of Natural Language Processing and Text Mining. This paper emphasis on building an extractive summarization system combining the features of principal component analysis for dimensionality reduction and bidirectional Recurrent Neural Networks and Long Short-Term Memory (RNN-LSTM) deep learning model for short and exact synopsis using seq2seq model. It presents a… More >

    A. Devipriya1, P. Prabu2, K. Venkatachalam3, Ahmed Zohair Ibrahim4,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.71, No.1, pp. 651-666, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.020820

Abstract This research article proposes an automatic frame work for detecting COVID -19 at the early stage using chest X-ray image. It is an undeniable fact that coronovirus is a serious disease but the early detection of the virus present in human bodies can save lives. In recent times, there are so many research solutions that have been presented for early detection, but there is still a lack in need of right and even rich technology for its early detection. The proposed deep learning model analysis the pixels of every image and adjudges the presence of virus. The classifier is designed… More >

Hybrid Online Model for Predicting Diabetes Mellitus

    C. Mallika1,*, S. Selvamuthukumaran2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.31, No.3, pp. 1873-1885, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.020543

Abstract Modern healthcare systems have become smart by synergizing the potentials of wireless sensors, the medical Internet of things, and big data science to provide better patient care while decreasing medical expenses. Large healthcare organizations generate and accumulate an incredible volume of data continuously. The already daunting volume of medical information has a massive amount of diagnostic features and logged details of patients for certain diseases such as diabetes. Diabetes mellitus has emerged as along-haul fatal disease across the globe and particularly in developing countries. Exact and early diagnosis of diabetes from big medical data is vital for the deterrence of… More >

Abstract During COVID-19, the escalated demand for various pharmaceutical products with the existing production capacity of pharmaceutical companies has stirred the need to prioritize its customers in order to fulfill their demand. This study considers a two-echelon pharmaceutical supply chain considering various pharma-distributors as its suppliers and hospitals, pharmacies, and retail stores as its customers. Previous studies have generally considered a balanced situation in terms of supply and demand whereas this study considers a special situation of COVID-19 pandemic where demand exceeds supply Various criteria have been identified from the literature that influences the selection of customers. A questionnaire has been… More >

Shafiul Islam, Lutful Hassan, Mohammad Anwar Hossain

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.1, pp. 97-114, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.017251

Abstract Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is called ‘the poor man’s orange’ due to its low price and improved nutritional values. An experiment was conducted to study the breeding potential of some exotic tomato lines by assessing various qualitative and quantitative traits conferring yield and quality attributes. Among the qualitative traits, greater variability was observed for growth type, stem hairiness, and fruit shape and size. A determinate growth habit was observed in the genotype AVTO9802 while the genotype AVTO0102 produced yellow color fruits. A significant (p ≤ 0.01) variation was also observed for the studied quantitative traits. Based on yield and traits… More >
