    Abstract Specific features of the thermal stress fields in roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam are always their spatial character and completely dependent on the maturity functions such as deformations properties (elastic, creep). The thermal changes in the material affect the elastic, creep properties of the material, and in turn, the stress fields within the structure.     Abstract This study intends to investigate the role of amentoflavone(AF) in human clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) and to elucidate underlying molecular mechanisms. Materials and Methods: Human RCC cell lines Caki-1 and 786-O were used in this study. Cell proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle distribution and invasion assays were conducted to analyze the effect of AF against ccRCC in vitro. Xenograft model and pulmonary metastasis animal model were established to evaluate the vivo therapeutic efficacy and against pulmonary metastasis ability of AF, respectively.     Abstract A non-linear fracture mechanics based approach is proposed to depict a typical fracture mechanism from initiation to growth, eventually leading to failure. This concept is developed for a lightly reinforced beam in flexure. The proposed model integrates the existing methodology of a Stress Intensity Factor equilibrium equation with the bridging forces developed in concrete cover and rebar. The model and solution algorithm outlined presents an elaborate understanding of the mechanism involved and is significant in predicting the behaviour of flexural members.     Abstract Behaviour of layered steel fibre reinforced cementitious composite (SFRCC) panels is studied under high velocity impact of short projectiles. The panels consist of slurry infiltrated fibre concrete (SIFCON) layers in external faces and an intermediate (core) layer of latex modified concrete (LMC) and steel wire mesh embedded in cement sand slurry.
