Abstract Four numerical schemes are introduced for the analysis of photocurrent transients in organic photovoltaic devices. The mathematical model for organic polymer solar cells contains a nonlinear diffusion–reaction partial differential equation system with electrostatic convection attached to a kinetic ordinary differential equation. To solve the problem, Polynomial-based differential quadrature, Sinc, and Discrete singular convolution are combined with block marching techniques. These schemes are employed to reduce the problem to a nonlinear algebraic system. The iterative quadrature technique is used to solve the reduced problem. The obtained results agreed with the previous exact one and the finite element method. Further, the effects… More > Graphic Abstract

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.90, No.5, pp. 1507-1518, 2021, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2021.015723

Abstract Opuntia Milpa Alta is a cactus cultivated, domesticated, hybridized and selected from the plant Opuntia ficus-indica by Mexican agricultural experts, which can be used as fruit and vegetable. Opuntia Milpa Alta leaves and fruit are superior to wild varieties and suitable for storage and transportation. In 1998, Opuntia Milpa Alta was introduced to China from Mexico by the Quality Product Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of China. Up to now, the Opuntia Milpa Alta has been cultivated on a certain scale in China. This study aims to identify the research progress and development trends of Opuntia Milpa Alta… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.62, No.1, pp. 309-319, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.06509

Abstract In this paper, we propose a novel image interpolation method by using Gaussian-Sinc automatic interpolators with partition of unity property. A comprehensive comparison is made with classical image interpolation methods, such as the bicubic interpolation, Lanczos interpolation, cubic Schaum interpolation, cubic B-spline interpolation and cubic Moms interpolation. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the improved image interpolation method via some image quality metrics such as PSNR and SSIM. More >
