Abstract Minerals are essential for human nutrition and plant growth and development. Nutrient concentrations in plants are related to many factors, including soil types. The impact of soil types on nutrient accumulation in corn, grown in black and sandy soils, was studied in the same area and management conditions. The results showed that the descending order of nutrient content was Ca > Fe > Zn > Mn > Cu > Se > Mo in both soil types.
