    Abstract Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to develop a device for the indicative measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP) of eyeball, a key cause for glaucoma. In early diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma accurate measurement of IOP is important. The methods and devices which are available for the measurement of IOP have their own limitations which cause discomfort to the patients during measurement and needs anesthesia.     Abstract The purpose of the study presented here was to investigate the manufacturability of human anatomical models from Computed Tomography (CT) scan data via a 3D desktop printer which uses fused deposition modelling (FDM) technology. First, Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) CT scan data were converted to 3D Standard Triangle Language (STL) format by using InVaselius digital imaging program.     Abstract This paper presents a high-order coupled compact integrated RBF (CC IRBF) approximation based domain decomposition (DD) algorithm for the discretisation of second-order differential problems. Several Schwarz DD algorithms, including one-level additive/ multiplicative and two-level additive/ multiplicative/ hybrid, are employed. The CCIRBF based DD algorithms are analysed with different mesh sizes, numbers of subdomains and overlap sizes for Poisson problems. Our convergence analysis shows that the CCIRBF two-level multiplicative version is the most effective algorithm among various schemes employed here.     Abstract Free liquid jets are of great technical importance in a variety of applications like ink-jet printing, glass painting, spray coating and metal cutting. Here we consider the changes induced in the dynamics of such jets by the presence of obstructions at the tube exit.     Abstract Random noise perturbs objective functions in practical optimization problems, and genetic algorithms (GAs) have been proposed as an effective optimization tool for dealing with noisy objective functions. In this paper, we investigate GAs in a variety of noisy environments where fitness perturbation can occur in any form-for example, fitness evaluations can be concurrently disturbed by additive and multiplicative noise.
