An Efficient Numerical Scheme for Biological Models in the Frame of Bernoulli Wavelets

    Fei Li1, Haci Mehmet Baskonus2,*, S. Kumbinarasaiah3, G. Manohara3, Wei Gao4, Esin Ilhan5

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.137, No.3, pp. 2381-2408, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.028069

Abstract This article considers three types of biological systems: the dengue fever disease model, the COVID-19 virus model, and the transmission of Tuberculosis model. The new technique of creating the integration matrix for the Bernoulli wavelets is applied. Also, the novel method proposed in this paper is called the Bernoulli wavelet collocation scheme (BWCM). All three models are in the form system of coupled ordinary differential equations without an exact solution. These systems are converted into a system of algebraic equations using the Bernoulli wavelet collocation scheme. The numerical wave distributions of these governing models are obtained by solving the algebraic… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.2, pp. 3455-3470, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.033352

Abstract The purpose of these investigations is to find the numerical outcomes of the fractional kind of biological system based on Leptospirosis by exploiting the strength of artificial neural networks aided by scale conjugate gradient, called ANNs-SCG. The fractional derivatives have been applied to get more reliable performances of the system. The mathematical form of the biological Leptospirosis system is divided into five categories, and the numerical performances of each model class will be provided by using the ANNs-SCG. The exactness of the ANNs-SCG is performed using the comparison of the reference and obtained results. The reference solutions have been obtained… More >

Thongchai Botmart1, Wajaree Weera1,*, Muhammad Asif Zahoor Raja2, Zulqurnain Sabir3, Qusain Hiader4, Gilder Cieza Altamirano5, Plinio Junior Muro Solano6, Alfonso Tesen Arroyo6

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 981-999, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.028921

Abstract In the present study, a design of a fractional order mathematical model is presented based on the schistosomiasis disease. To observe more accurate performances of the results, the use of fractional order derivatives in the mathematical model is introduce based on the schistosomiasis disease is executed. The preliminary design of the fractional order mathematical model focused on schistosomiasis disease is classified as follows: uninfected with schistosomiasis, infected with schistosomiasis, recovered from infection, susceptible snail unafflicted with schistosomiasis disease and susceptible snail afflicted with this disease. The solutions to the proposed system of the fractional order mathematical model will be presented… More >

    Anti-inflammatory activity of Ziziphus amole

    Romero-Castillo PA1, MC Pérez Amador Barron1, P Guevara Fefer1, V Muñoz Ocotero1, A Reyes Dorantes2, F Aguirre Garcia2, A Amaya Chavez3

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.82, pp. 75-80, 2013, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2013.82.075

Abstract The search for new anti-inflammatory drugs with fewer side effects than those currently available in the market has recently attracted the interest of scientists. Medicinal plants might be a natural source of medicines. Such is the case with Ziziphus amole (Sessé & Moc.) M.C. Johnst. or corongoro, a plant species native to México. It is used in traditional medicine as an anti-inflammatory drug, a healing substance and an analgesic, and in the treatment of diarrhea, diabetes, asthma and hemorrhoids. The aim of this study was to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effect of Z. amole in the acute 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) induced mouse… More >
