Abstract Aiming at the problems of large fluctuation of output active power and poor control performance in the process of frequency support of an energy-storage-type static-var-generator (ESVG), the adaptive adjustment control method for its active-loop parameters is used to realize the wind-farm frequency support, which has become the current research hotspot.
