    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.137, No.1, pp. 233-263, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.026476

Abstract Crowd management and analysis (CMA) systems have gained a lot of interest in the vulgarization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) use. Crowd tracking using UAVs is among the most important services provided by a CMA. In this paper, we studied the periodic crowd-tracking (PCT) problem. It consists in using UAVs to follow-up crowds, during the life-cycle of an open crowded area (OCA). Two criteria were considered for this purpose. The first is related to the CMA initial investment, while the second is to guarantee the quality of service (QoS). The existing works focus on very specified assumptions that are highly… More >

    R. Mangalagowri1,*, Revathi Venkataraman2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.2, pp. 1565-1580, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.026360

Abstract Cloud computing involves remote server deployments with public network infrastructures that allow clients to access computational resources. Virtual Machines (VMs) are supplied on requests and launched without interactions from service providers. Intruders can target these servers and establish malicious connections on VMs for carrying out attacks on other clustered VMs. The existing system has issues with execution time and false-positive rates. Hence, the overall system performance is degraded considerably. The proposed approach is designed to eliminate Cross-VM side attacks and VM escape and hide the server’s position so that the opponent cannot track the target server beyond a certain point.… More >

    Jamil Ahmed1, Majed G. Alharbi2, Muhammad Akram3,*, Shahida Bashir1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.129, No.2, pp. 881-906, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2021.017222

Abstract A bipolar single-valued neutrosophic set can deal with the hesitation relevant to the information of any decision making problem in real life scenarios, where bipolar fuzzy sets may fail to handle those hesitation problems. In this study, we first develop a new method for solving linear programming problems based on bipolar singlevalued neutrosophic sets. Further, we apply the score function to transform bipolar single-valued neutrosophic problems into crisp linear programming problems. Moreover, we apply the proposed technique to solve fully bipolar single-valued neutrosophic linear programming problems with non-negative triangular bipolar single-valued neutrosophic numbers (TBSvNNs) and non-negative trapezoidal bipolar single-valued neutrosophic… More >

Abstract Suppliers play the vital role of ensuring the continuous supply of goods to the market for businesses. If businesses do not maintain a strong bond with their suppliers, they may not be able to secure a steady supply of goods and products for their customers. As a result of failure to deliver products, the production and business activities of the business can be delayed which leads to the loss of customers. Normally, each trading enterprise will have a variety of commodity supply chains with multiple suppliers. Suppliers play an important role and contribute to the value of the entire supply… More >

    Rafid A. Al-Saeedi1, Rabha W. Ibrahim2, Rafida M. Elobaid3,*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.30, No.3, pp. 1073-1084, 2021, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2021.018011

Abstract Fractal strategy is an important tool in manufacturing proposals, including computer design, conserving, power supplies and decorations. In this work, a parametric programming, analysis is proposed to mitigate an optimization problem. By employing a fractal difference equation of the spread functions (local fractional calculus operator) in linear programming, we aim to analyze the restraints and the objective function. This work proposes a new technique of fractal fuzzy linear programming (FFLP) model based on the symmetric triangular fuzzy number. The parameter fuzzy number is selected from the fractal power of the difference equation. Note that this number indicates the fractal parameter,… More >

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.38, No.3, pp. 351-364, 2021, DOI:10.32604/csse.2021.015451

Abstract The present paper aims to develop the Kuhn-Tucker and Fritz John criteria for saddle point optimality of interval-valued nonlinear programming problem. To achieve the study objective, we have proposed the definition of minimizer and maximizer of an interval-valued non-linear programming problem. Also, we have introduced the interval-valued Fritz-John and Kuhn Tucker saddle point problems. After that, we have established both the necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of an interval-valued non-linear minimization problem. Next, we have shown that both the saddle point conditions (Fritz-John and Kuhn-Tucker) are sufficient without any convexity requirements. Then with the convexity requirements, we have established that… More >
