    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.84, No.2, pp. 3787-3810, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.065895 - 03 July 2025

Abstract Despite the gradual transformation of traditional manufacturing by the Human-Robot Collaboration Assembly (HRCA), challenges remain in the robot’s ability to understand and predict human assembly intentions. This study aims to enhance the robot’s comprehension and prediction capabilities of operator assembly intentions by capturing and analyzing operator behavior and movements. We propose a video feature extraction method based on the Temporal Shift Module Network (TSM-ResNet50) to extract spatiotemporal features from assembly videos and differentiate various assembly actions using feature differences between video frames. Furthermore, we construct an action recognition and segmentation model based on the Refined-Multi-Scale… More >

    Amjad Khan1, Rahim Khan1,*, Fahad Alturise2,*, Tamim Alkhalifah3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.82, No.2, pp. 3161-3178, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.060372 - 17 February 2025

Abstract The Internet of Things (IoT) and edge-assisted networking infrastructures are capable of bringing data processing and accessibility services locally at the respective edge rather than at a centralized module. These infrastructures are very effective in providing a fast response to the respective queries of the requesting modules, but their distributed nature has introduced other problems such as security and privacy. To address these problems, various security-assisted communication mechanisms have been developed to safeguard every active module, i.e., devices and edges, from every possible vulnerability in the IoT. However, these methodologies have neglected one of the… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.2, pp. 3517-3535, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.035410 - 31 March 2023

Abstract The COVID-19 outbreak began in December 2019 and was declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization. The four most dominating variants are Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron. After the administration of vaccine doses, an eminent decline in new cases has been observed. The COVID-19 vaccine induces neutralizing antibodies and T-cells in our bodies. However, strong variants like Delta and Omicron tend to escape these neutralizing antibodies elicited by COVID-19 vaccination. Therefore, it is indispensable to study, analyze and most importantly, predict the response of SARS-CoV-2-derived t-cell epitopes against Covid variants in vaccinated… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.36, No.3, pp. 2865-2877, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.034258 - 15 March 2023

Abstract Batsmen are the backbone of any cricket team and their selection is very critical to the team’s success. A good batsman not only scores run but also provides stability to the team’s innings. The most important factor in selecting a batsman is their ability to score runs. It is a generally accepted notion that the future performance of a batsman can be predicted by observing and analyzing their past record. This hypothesis is based on the fact that a player’s batting average is generally considered to be a good indicator of their future performance. We… More >
