    Abstract Control charts (CCs) are one of the main tools in Statistical Process Control that have been widely adopted in manufacturing sectors as an effective strategy for malfunction detection throughout the previous decades. Measurement errors (M.E’s) are involved in the quality characteristic of interest, which can effect the CC’s performance.     Multiple Scattering Between Adjacent Sound Sources in Head-Related Transfer Function Measurement System

    Abstract To accelerate head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) measurement, two or more independent sound sources are usually employed in the measurement system. However, the multiple scattering between adjacent sound sources may influence the accuracy of measurement. On the other hand, the directivity of sound source could induce measurement error. Therefore, a model consisting of two spherical sound sources with approximate omni-directivity and a rigid-spherical head is proposed to evaluate the errors in HRTF measurement caused by multiple scattering between sources.     Determining the Unknown Traction of a Cracked Elastic Body Using the Inverse Technique with the Dual Boundary Element Method

    Abstract The two-dimensional elasticity problem of an isotropic material, containing a centered-crack with unknown boundary traction is studied by the inverse procedure. The dual boundary integral equations are used to analyze the problem. While solving the ill-posed inverse problem, both of the conjugate gradient method and the regularization method are used. A scaling factor depending upon the material constant μ is introduced into the sensitivity matrix in order to keep the order of magnitude the same throughout the formulation.
