Abstract Background: Post-cesarean surgical site infection is a frequent complication with significant consequences for maternal, physical, and psychological well-being. Abstract Introduction: To report the early postoperative patient experience, including symptom response, catheterization, recovery and satisfaction, following treatment with two minimally invasive surgical therapies (MIST) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): mechanical disobstruction with UroLift prostatic urethral lift (PUL) and tissue ablation with steam injection (Rezum).

Abstract Introduction: The prostatic urethral Lift (PUL) procedure offers a novel treatment for men with lower urinary tract obstructive symptoms (LUTS) secondary to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Most patients who seek LUTS/BPH treatment choose the intervention that offers the expectations of a significant improvement in quality of life and the least chance of short or long term morbidity.
