Abstract With the rapid integration of renewable energy sources, modern power systems are increasingly challenged by heightened volatility and uncertainty. Doubly-fed variable-speed pumped storage units (DFVS-PSUs) have emerged as promising technologies for mitigating grid oscillations and enhancing system flexibility.
