Abstract The research volume increases at the study rate, causing massive text corpora. Due to these enormous text corpora, we are drowning in data and starving for information. Therefore, recent research employed different text mining approaches to extract information from this text corpus. These proposed approaches extract meaningful and precise phrases that effectively describe the text's information. These extracted phrases are commonly termed keyphrases. Further, these key phrases are employed to determine the different fields of study trends. Moreover, these key phrases can also be used to determine the spatiotemporal trends in the various research fields. In this research, the progress… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.2, pp. 1175-1186, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.025214

Abstract Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a tropical disease that always attacks densely populated urban communities. Some factors, such as environment, climate and mobility, have contributed to the spread of the disease. The Aedes aegypti mosquito is an agent of dengue virus in humans, and by inhibiting its life cycle it can reduce the spread of the dengue disease. Therefore, it is necessary to involve the dynamics of mosquito's life cycle in a model in order to obtain a reliable risk map for intervention. The aim of this study is to develop a stochastic convolution susceptible, infective, recovered-susceptible, infective (SIR-SI) model… More >

    Congenital Heart Disease, Vol.13, No.6, pp. 1012-1027, 2018, DOI:10.1111/chd.12672

Abstract Objectives: There is limited data on congenital heart disease (CHD) from the lower‐ and middle‐income country. We aim to study the epidemiology of CHD with the specific objective to estimate the birth prevalence, severity, and its trend over time.
Design: A population‐based study with data retrieved from the Pediatric Cardiology Clinical Information System, a clinical registry of acquired and congenital heart dis‐ ease for children.
    Setting: State of Johor, Malaysia.
Patients: All children (0‐12 years of age) born in the state of Johor between January 2006 and December 2015.
    Intervention: None.
Outcome measure: The birth prevalence, severity, and temporal trend… More >
