Abstract The emergence of Web 2.0 is materialized by new technologies (APIs, Ajax, etc.), by new practices (mashup, geotagging, etc.) an, by new tools (wiki, blog, etc.). It is primarily based on the principle of participation and collaboration. In this dynamic, the web mapping with spatial character or simply called Geospatial Web (or Geoweb) evolves by strong technological and social changes. Participatory GeoWeb 2.0 is materialized in particular by mashups among wikis and géobrowsers (ArgooMap, Geowiki, WikiMapia, etc.). The new applications resulting from these mashups are moving towards more interactive forms of collective intelligence. The Geodesign… More >

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.3, pp. 527-546, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2019.100000109

Abstract A numerical optimization algorithm for unsteady flows of rotor based on web service is proposed. Space discretization uses the finite volume method, time discretization uses the implicit dual-time steps method, and turbulence model uses the Spalart–Allmaras (S–A) model. In order to efficiently use the computing resources of the cluster, a service-oriented service computing architecture is used in a parallel computing service program. In order to realize the load balance of hybrid grid partition, the grid is partitioned by Metis Library. Meanwhile, data communication based on Message Passing Interface (MPI) technology guarantees the consistency of convergence More >

The Design and Implementation of a Multidimensional and Hierarchical Web Anomaly Detection System

Jianfeng Guan*, Jiawei Li, Zhongbai Jiang

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.25, No.1, pp. 131-141, 2019, DOI:10.31209/2018.100000050

Abstract The traditional web anomaly detection systems face the challenges derived from the constantly evolving of the web malicious attacks, which therefore result in high false positive rate, poor adaptability, easy over-fitting, and high time complexity. Due to these limitations, we need a new anomaly detection system to satisfy the requirements of enterprise-level anomaly detection. There are lots of anomaly detection systems designed for different application domains. However, as for web anomaly detection, it has to describe the network accessing behaviours characters from as many dimensions as possible to improve the performance. In this paper we… More >

XML-Based Information Fusion Architecture Based on Cloud Computing Ecosystem

    I-Ching Hsu1,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.61, No.3, pp. 929-950, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.07876

Abstract Considering cloud computing from an organizational and end user computing point of view, it is a new paradigm for deploying, managing and offering services through a shared infrastructure. Current development of cloud computing applications, however, are the lack of a uniformly approach to cope with the heterogeneous information fusion. This leads cloud computing to inefficient development and a low potential reuse. This study addresses these issues to propose a novel Web 2.0 Mashups as a Service, called WMaaS, which is a fundamental cloud service model. The WMaaS is developed based on a XML-based Mashups Architecture More >

    Yang Liu1, Zeying Lan4, Hanfa Xing2,3,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.119, No.2, pp. 311-330, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2019.04284

Abstract Web maps represent an effective source for land cover mapping in capturing human activities. However, due to spatial heterogeneity, previous research has mainly focused on generating land cover maps in partial areas. Inferring spatial distribution patterns in Web maps may provide an alternative perspective on improving map production on a larger scale. This paper represents a novel approach to investigating the spatial distribution in Web maps for land cover mapping. First, linear features from Web maps are utilised to delineate parcels with insufficient Web map data for classification. Then, spatial factors are constructed from point… More >

    Lingjie Yu1,2, Guanlin Wang1, Chao Zhi1, Bugao Xu1,2,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.119, No.2, pp. 365-372, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2019.04494

Abstract A fibrous filtering material is a kind of fiber assembly whose structure exhibits a three-dimensional (3D) network with dense microscopic open channels. The geometrical/morphological attributes, such as orientations, curvatures and compactness, of fibers in the network is the key to the filtration performance of the material. However, most of the previous studies were based on materials’ 2D micro-images, which were unable to accurately measure these important 3D features of a filter’s structure. In this paper, we present an imaging method to reconstruct the 3D structure of a fibrous filter from its optical microscopic images. Firstly, More >
