Formononetin Inhibits Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Proliferation via Regulation of mir-27a-3p through p53 Pathway

    Chunya Hu, Yu He*

    Oncologie, Vol., , DOI: 10.32604/Oncologie.2021.015828

Abstract Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate the anti-tumor effects of formononetin on human nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its potential molecular mechanism. Methods: A549 cells were treated with different concentrations of formononetin, then detected the cell proliferation, apoptosis and the expression of HIPK2 respectively by MTT assay, flow cytometry analysis and RT-qPCR. Then the interaction between miR- 27a-3p and its target gene HIPK2 was verified through luciferase reporter assay. The expression of miR-27a- 3p, HIPK2, and p53 was detected after being treated with different formononetin concentrations by RT-qPCR and western blot. Results: The results showed… More >

Application Value of Multi-Slice Spiral CT Multiplanar Reconstruction Technique in the Diagnosis and Clinicopathological Analysis of Gastrointestinal Lymphoma

    Yongtao Yu, Guangdong Zou*

    Oncologie, Vol., , DOI:10.32604/Oncologie.2021.015520

Abstract Objective: The purpose was to explore the value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) multiplanar reconstruction technique in the diagnosis and clinicopathological analysis of gastrointestinal lymphoma (GIL). Methods: 82 GIL patients treated in our hospital from February 2018 to February 2019 were selected as the experimental group of this study, and 82 patients with other gastrointestinal tumors diagnosed by pathology during the same period were selected as the control group. Both groups of patients were scanned by MSCT and analyzed by multiplanar reconstruction technique to compare the diagnostic results and clinicopathological indexes of the two groups. Results: The diagnostic accuracy of… More >

Mir-612 Inhibits Proliferation and Invasion of Urothelial Carcinoma of Bladder Cells through Activating Hippo Pathway via Targeting PMEPA1

Peng Wang, Haiyang Zhang, Zilian Cui, Xunbo Jin*, Dong Zhang*

    Oncologie, Vol., , DOI:10.32604/Oncologie.2021.015503

Abstract Urothelial carcinoma of bladder (UCB) is a common urological malignancy in the world, but its progression mechanism remains unclear. MiR-612 was found as an anti-tumor factor in multiple types of cancer, while few studies have revealed its functions in UCB cells. Based on this, UCB cells such as HTB-9 and HTB-4, and normal urothelial of bladder cells such as SV-Huc1, were used as subjects in this study. Western blot, qRTPCR, CCK-8 assay and transwell assay were used to assess functions of miR-612 in UCB cells. The database, miRWalk, was used to search for potential targets of miR-612, and dual-luciferase reporter… More >
